2. Why is audience feedback important in
the media?
■ The audience is a vital aspect that helps the media identify what they are targeting to get
reach the right genre and potentially gaining a bigger profit margin. A huge amount of
research goes into any potential new media product before it is actually made or
marketed to find out what audiences would be attracted to;
■ Make/ save money; Through merchandise and making future investments for example,
batman merchandise through the logo of the film
■ Audiences wants and needs and tailoring the product: Audience feedback helps the
media company to identify what they can do attract the audience and create a bigger
cash inflow
■ Improve any weaknesses: Audience feedback helps create a successful marketing
campaign as the company will be able to identify and improve and weaknesses that
may not have been spotted and identify a niche market target that will find the
psychographic of an audience that will make it easier for the media company.

4. What did I do to get feedback?

individual/group in completing the project?
■ If we were in the real media context all this feedback would be vital to creating a
successful media project yet the audience target and budget would be much bigger.
■ By looking at target audiences and for example young females and the audience sector
helped me gain a wider knowledge of what needs to be done to create something
that would be classed as successful and has helped identify the progress of each
stage.
■ By looking at rating systems of the poster and the review page really helped me to
identify what media companies do to attract the audience and even if a film review is
bad they still find a positive to make the product attractive to a certain audience at
least to gain some profit or fix costs.
■ The audience feedback helped our group to work together to seek similarities and help
each other to improve and add additional support to the audience review as inside
help from group members is just as helpful as they are able to identify what you a
physically able to improve on within the given space of time that we have.
