This document discusses plans for a BYOD4L event at Sheffield Hallam University from July 14-18, 2014. It proposes hosting workshops, drop-in sessions, and meetings to engage staff locally on topics around connecting, communicating, curating, collaborating, and creating using personal devices for learning. Daily online activities would follow the 5Cs theme and use the #BYOD4L hashtag. The goal is to take an open and inter-institutional approach while also organizing local events and discussions to involve more of the university's staff.
