1991 / 1992 Armistead Mechanical: Estimating process piping, temp controls,
and HVAC takeoffs from the office. Price labor with R S Means Field experience
includes site walks at Block Drug, Lederle Pharmaceuticals. Draw shop drawings
and as-built drawings for all installed piping. Projects from $500,000 to 12 million.
1992 /1995 Anzek Construction: Estimating and supervising the construction of
many retail mall stores such as The Gap, Victoria Secrets, Blimpies, Claires, The music box,
The sports Authority, Nine West, Coat World, bank renovations, and fire house additions.
Malls included Palisades Mall, Nanuet Mall, Garden State Mall, and Woodbury Commons
Outlet. Researched CDN news for projects to bid. Job buy out with subs and materials. Daily
walk through on Wyeth / Lederle pharmaceutical projects to be bid.
Supervised union work force of laborers and carpenters maintaining quality
and production. Projects from $100,000 to 1.5 million dollars.
1995 Boswell Engineering: Experience includes building a park and ride for commuter buses.
My duties included all inspections of concrete, asphalt, curb, sidewalk, drainage, electrical,
landscaping, stone base, erosion control, signage, guardrail, riprap, excavation, and grading. Prepare daily
inspection and installed quantity reports. Maintained job site safety and MUTCD
compliance. When the project neared completion I assisted in cross sectioning the new park
and ride with all elevations. I also manually plotted the O.S. and the F.G. to calculate the
volume of cut or fill at every half station via Double Meridian Distance. After the cross
sections were plotted I entered all data into the NYSDOT PFVOL computer program to
check the calculations. The quantities matched the Engineers estimate for the project so
closely that the NYSDOT Engineer In Charge that I worked for, recommended me for a
supplemental state position until the state test was offered. Project was 3 million.
1995 -1998 New York State Department Of Transportation: My experience with the NYS DOT
included many field office positions Inspecting projects such as asphalt truing and leveling
on Rt. 17M in Harriman. Intersection, turning lane, and road widening improvements in
Monroe, Rt, 293 to West Point asphalt paving ( Superlevations), cracking and seating
existing concrete road, joint sealing, remove and replace concrete spauling, ditch cleaning,
guardrail, Culvert inspections in the winter slow months, guardrail inspections for insurance
claims, bridge jacking and bearing replacements over Rt 84, Bridge abutment pour, and steel
setting in Goshen, Sign and guardrail replacements in Newburgh. Projects range from 1/2
million to 20 million. Assisted with Office Engineer work and monthly estimates.

1998-2000 A.C. Gar Contracting: ( Contract assignments)
As a freelance consultant Estimator / Super I have worked on the following:
Estimated retail construction using R.S. Means and provided quantity surveys, Supervised
construction of Wyckoff Chrysler, and Commerce Banks in New Jersey. Supervised and
managed the construction of a G & J strip mall in Spring Valley. Supervised union
excavating crews at IBM in Fishkill, N.Y. conducting highly sensitive excavations including
test pits to find duct banks, process piping, asphalt milling of parking lots, and drill and split
of rock excavation while seismic testing was being conducted to monitor our construction
vibrations near sensitive computer equipment. Conduct weekly safety meetings, attend
progress meetings, complete daily manpower and equipment reports, and maintain change
orders. Provide layout and direction to company Foremen. U.W. Marx - Assisted Project
Manager with buy-out, RFI’S, submittals, monthly pay requisitions on a 100 bed 23 hour
lockdown correctional facility project which included specialized detention equipment.
Projects up to 10 million. Estimator for Rok-Built Construction.
2000 -2001 Belstar Engineering: My duties included QC / inspecting two projects in the Myrtle Beach
area. My inspection duties included muck excavation, sand borrow placement (bridge lift),
6’x 8’ culvert installation, erosion control, drainage, in-situ sewer line relining, sewer, water,
hydro seeding, curb and gutter, sidewalk, utilities, borings, riprap, soil nails and shotcrete,
vibro compaction and replacement, soil cement mixture and placement, soil stabilization,
driven piles and bent caps, traffic control, and barrier walls. Projects were a 60 million dollar
upgrade to route 501 in Myrtle Beach including 7 bridges and perimeter roads, and Grissom
Parkway 501 to Harrelson Blvd. Continuous daily tracking of contract quantities and pay
items and entered same into the Site Manager computer program.
2002 R J Griffin Construction: Field Engineer. My duties include the accurate layout ( Nikon
DTM 520 ) and as built of all auger cast piles for a high end ocean front 12 story high rise
building (Vista Del Mar). 20 Million Dollar Project. I also monitored the drilling
operations, casting, and reinforcement placement for all 360 auger cast piles. Oversaw
tower crane & footing installation. Monitored the dewatering system to insure a dry site.
Continuously used the total station to accurately layout all pile and pile cap locations
using a baseline and COGO to calculate coordinates for all points and then shoot the
angle and distances from permanent construction points.
2003 Sullivan County Department Of Public Works: My duties include field inspection of
drainage projects designed in house and contracted out. I calculated contract quantities
from field measurements and verified payment of work completed daily. I also worked
on drainage design using Bentley Microstation and Inroads Suite. The design starts with
coding survey data in Survey Select Cad from the field RAW data format and making a
base map with contours and labels. Complete the design with proposed drainage plan,
profiles, and sections. Prepare engineers estimate of quantities for the project. Prepare
specifications and pay items for all highway design projects. Place coordinates on plans
for contractors layout. Review consultants pay requests for design and construction of
county bridge projects and insure compliance with the master and supplemental
agreements. Profiles and sections on completed projects to check faults in airport paving project.

2004 /2005 A. Servidone Inc: My duties included daily tracking of all field activities, equipment,
labor, materials, and ordering all materials to progress the project. Project was a two
bridge 17 million dollar interchange with 4 new ramps. Workup daily quantities used and
placed, and compare with engineers estimate biweekly. Review project plans and look for
changes in the work that were not as per plans originally bid and submit agreed pricing /
force account documentation. Assist Superintendent with scheduling / supervision / QC
of subcontractors. Prepare weekly schedules. Review subcontractor invoices against work
completed. Weekly SPDES reports and photos. Attend weekly progress meeting with
NYSOT to discuss problems and schedule. Maintain manual and computerized OSHA
logs, timesheets, material deliveries, jobsite disbursements, safety meetings, RFI’s,
Change Orders, Schedules, and photo logs.
2005 / 2006 Project Time and Cost Forensic Engineering – Baton Rouge L.A. ( Thru Tech USA)
Title: Building Consultant / Technician: Deployed during the onset of the Gulf Coast
Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, I assisted structural engineers in evaluating damage to
residential and commercial buildings. Evaluations included differential settlement,
roofing, moisture, wind vs. flood, foundations and structural cracks. As a building
consultant I would assist adjusters in scoping damages on large apartment complexes,
malls, hotels, and medical plazas. After the damage was thoroughly evaluated and
quantified, I prepared detailed photos and dimensioned sketch in Xactimate and priced
it up using R.S. Means cost lists and subcontractor quotes as needed. The work covered
the Gulf Coast from Gulf Port M.S. to Beaumont T.X. Work averaged over 80 hours per
week! I received an excellent reference letter from employer for my work efforts.
2006 Nannini and Callahan Excavating Inc.
Title: Project Manager / Super. The Fairways at Wallkill ( Ginsburg Development )
Duties: Initial project buyout and ordering of all drainage, sewer, water pipe. fittings precast
items, and schedule lot and road survey. Daily communication with Engineers and
Inspection agencies to insure smooth project progression. Daily management of
subcontractors as well as own work force for the Cut / Fill earthwork, erosion control,
and installation of all sewer, water, drainage of a 8 million dollar site work contract ( 230
Homes). Work up all grades and check installation on all pipe. Prepare pay requisitions,
submittals, change orders, revenue reports, and project layout and grades of all
excavation, sewer and water. Assist in operating heavy equipment, laboring, installing
water main, drainage, and sewer main.
2007 C.V. Associates – Inspector / Health and Safety Officer / Office Engineer. on a 2
million dollar Primary clarifier tank addition at the City of Newburgh WWTP. The
project was deemed a MGP Hazardous Waste Site “Coal Tar”, and all personnel were 40
Hr Haz-Wopper trained. I also obtained 10 Hr OSHA Supervisor training. My duties
included daily inspection of work, safety and RFI Logs. Inspection of 46 HP 10 x 48
Piles driven to rock. Conduct periodic safety reviews and inspections and order
correction of any deficient items. Conduct weekly safety meetings, Maintain MSDS
book, RFI log, Submittal Log, Weekly progress photos, and daily inspection reports.

Title: Assistant Super / Foremen Full-depth reconstruction, including the addition of a
center turn lane the full length of the project. Upgraded intersections/traffic signals,
replacement of storm drainage system, 14” waterline, 8” sewer lines. Building demolition
(asbestos), a rock cut on mainline of 5’ depth, full depth pavement removal and
replacement, Underground tank removals, new curb and sidewalks, street lighting,
retaining walls, landscaping, Verizon duct bank relocate, and various traffic controls. My
duties included tracking daily quantities in comparison with DOT quantities,
documenting daily work with photos and logs, layout of all work, calculating grades,
shoot grades, read and interpret plans, physical work, and direct field staff. Insure
