6. Introduction:-
 Kerela is located on the south-western tip of India.
The land of Keralaputras or Keram (coconut
trees), straddled by the evergreen Western Ghats
on one side and the fathomless Arabian Sea on
the other, is as different from the rest of India as
pepper is to chill. This is this favourable
geography which makes Kerela unique.
 India enjoys this unique geographical features that
have made it one of the most south-after tourist
destination. Fondly referred to as ‘God’s Own
Country’.

7.  Classical art forms, colorful festivals, exotic
cuisines are some of the cultural marvels that
await travelers. Ayurveda, the ancient system
of therapy, medicine and panchkarma, the
rejuvenation therapy in ayurveda have also
help Kerela to gain a pan-global reputation as
a worth visit destination.

9. KERALA HISTORY
 Avatar recovers the land of Kerala from the
Arabian Sea by throwing his battle axe into
Arabian Sea. (sixth incranation of lord Vishnu was
born as the son of a sage named as
Parashuram).
 Parashuram was an ace warrior and is one of the
immortal on earth.

10. KERALA CULTURE:-
 The Malayalee culture is derived from
ancient Tamil-Dravidian practices
combine with Arya-Indian culture, with
influences from China, Japan, Arab
countries, Portugal, Holland and even
from the British. There are a lot of Tamil-
Sanskrit elements, resulting in many
unique practices and customs. The
Malayalee culture is Matriarchal, thus

a Masterpiece of the oral and intangible Heritage of
Humanity. Most of the characters are noted for Sanskrit
recitations are highly stylized movement, particularly eye
expressions. Some parts of the stories are expressed
only using the eyes.

 This is a ritualistic rite performed in the temple
of Malabar.

 Kerala economy is primarily based on agriculture but
from the few last years, Kerala tourism has shown
noticeable growth. 6.29% of GDP is through tourism
only.

Kerela has a number of luxury spas and various
types of ayurvedic treatments mentioned below:-

treat the allergies and inflammatory problems.

27. FRYING SPREE-KERELA’S
FAMOUS CHIPS
Banana chips bought in Kerela are fried in the coconut
oil, which gives them their distinctive taste.
ADDICTED TO FISH:-
With the variety of vegetation dishes available, one
would presume that this is a largely a vegetarian state.
However fish or meen, appears on the table of all
vegetarians in Kerela.

28. ‘SADYA:SPECIAL DISH IN KERELA’
Apart from the different forms of idlies and dosas,
there is a unique cuisine called ‘Sadya’. The method
of serving a Sadya is strictly followed. The Sadya is
improperly laid on ela ( plaintain leaf).

 From the above report, in the end I would like to
conclude that Kerela is a worth going tourist
destination which offers a tremendous equable
climate, serene beaches, spa treatments,
backwaters, classical arts forms, colorful festivals,
exotic cuisines and the flora and faunas of wildlife
and bird sanctuaries in its western ghats. Due to the
numerous temples, fondly referred to as ‘God’s Own
Country’, Kerela was selected by the National
Geography Traveller as one of the 50 destination of
a lifetime and one of the thirteen paradises in the
world.

 Further, I would like to add in this project that Kerela
can be promoted as a tourist destination for the
international as well as domestic tourists in order to
generate the foreign exchange and for the social
infrastructural development also.
 It is all that the season never ends in Kerela which
offers long moderate climate and numerous festival
and events that can be advertised to promote the
Kerela Tourism in the world.
