A risk assessment of the risks that may happen at my photo shoot

camera when shooting.
The equipment that I used will be
hired out for the college and
therefore it is my reasonability to
ensure that it does not get broken
when I am using it for my photo
shoot.
Lighting The location for my shoot
will be in the Telstar
I will be responsible for my
camera when shooting.
The lighting that I will use my not
be appropriate for my phot shoot
as it may effect the way the
picture shows.
Low Battery The location for my shoot
will be in the Telstar
I will be responsible for the
camera when shooting.
I will make sure that my battery is
charged for every photo shoot
that I do so I can take a lot of
photos without having to worry
about the battery being low..
Memory Card
full
The location for my shoot
will be in the Telstar
I will be responsible for my
camera when shooting.
If my memory card becomes full I
will delete the photos that are not
very good and I am least likely to
use on my magazine. By doing
this will allow me to have mores
storage space for more photos if I
need to take anymore.

2. Location Safety The location for my shoot
will be in the Telstar and the
Billingham Catholic club
I will be responsible for my
camera when shooting.
The location that I will be shooting at
is in doors so weather will not be a
problem, also the location is in a pub
called the Telstar so it will be well
built and will be a safe building for
me to shoot in.
Trip Hazards The location for my shoot
will be in the Telstar
I will be responsible for my
camera when shooting
In my location there will be trip
hazards for the bands wires that
they will be using for their
equipment.. In order not to trip I will
be very careful when I move around
the pub to make sure that I do not
trip over and hurt myself or break
the camera
Public
interference
The location for my shoot

I will be responsible for my
camera when shooting.
As I am using a live band they will
be performing when I am taking
photos and therefore could I could
disturb people who are trying to
watch the band perform. In order to
not disturb the people who are trying
to watch the band perform in will
plan where and how I am going to
take my photos by doing this it will
not disturb other people.
Electricals The location for my shoot
will be in the Telstar
I will be responsible for my
camera when I am shooting.
There will be a lot of electrical
devices that will be used when I am
taking my photos. I will also make
sure that I will switch plugs off when
I am not using them to ensure that it
does not cut out the other electrical
appliances.

3. Traffic The location for my shoot will
be in the Telstar and the
Billingham Catholic club
I will be responsible for my
camera
As my location is out of town I will
have to allow myself enough time to
get there in case of traffic. I will also
have to rely on one of my parents to
drive me there as I am unable to drive
myself.
Software The location for my editing
will be in the media room

I will be responsible for my
camera and the memory card
as I will have to take it out in
order to import my photos
The software that I will be using is for
my post- production is Final Cut in
case this software crashes I will save
my work within a fifteen minute time
slot.
Contrast
between light
and dark
The location for my shoo will
be in the Telstar
I will be responsible for my
camera as I am taking out
the the pub.
To over come this I will have to take a
couple of practice shots in order to
see how well they work in the room
and with the lighting as it is going to
be mainly stage lighting that will be
used . If it does not then I will have to
arrange another time where I can
take some pictures or see if I can
change the settings in order for the
camera to take pictures in the lighting.
Stealing The location for my shoot will
be in the Telstar
I will be responsible for my
camera as I am hiring it out
over the half- term week and
I will be taking it places were
it can be very easily stolen
As I am taking the camera to the pub
and it is going to be dark mot of the
night this will make it and easy target
to get stolen by someone and I do
not want this happening as I am in full
responsibility for the camera. To stop
this from happening I will arrange with
the band to see I can put the camera
with the bands equipment when I am
not using it in order that I know where
it I and every so often I can check on
it an us it when I need to use it.
