1. School Uniform and Identification (ID)
Statement of Policy:
In order to maintain a sense of school spirit, decorum, and discipline, all Philippine Electronics and
Communication Institute of Technology students are expected to properly wear their School Uniform and
School ID. All PECIT students are required to comply with the five (4) components of the school uniform
effective a week after the first day of school. Students must wear a uniform top, uniform bottoms,
footwear, and school issued identification (ID) as provided below. This policy applies at all times on
campus, buses, and field trips, as well as at school-sponsored activities. Students must remain in uniform
all day, including after school.
SCHOOL UNIFORM:
Students are required to wear the prescribed or official school uniform from Mondays to Fridays,
except Wednesdays. Sports shoes are not allowed on uniform days. The school enforces the NO
UNIFORM, NO ID, NO ENTRY policy. Consistent with the policy, hereunder is the uniform schedule.
MONDAY – School Uniform
TUESDAY – School Uniform
WEDNESDAY – Free Day/ Wash Day
THURSDAY – School Uniform
FRIDAY – School Uniform
PE Class – Prescribed P.E T-shit and Jogging Pants
NSTP Class (for college students) – Prescribed NSTP Shirt
EXEMPTIONS
Students who are unable to meet the Uniform Policy on any particular day must bring a note from
a parent explaining the reasons for non-compliance. This is to be handed in to the coordinator of Discipline
before or on the particular day that the student was not able to wear his/her uniform.
MAKE-UP, JEWELRY AND BODY ADORNMENTS
Make-up, jewelry and body adornments must be minimal, unobtrusive and safe. Earrings should
be kept to sleepers or studs. If, in the opinion of the school administration, students do not adhere to
these guidelines, they will be required to make the necessary changes to conform to this policy.
SCHOOL ID:
School issued ID cards must be worn on the school-issued lanyards as part of the school’s uniform policy.
ID cards are property of the school and cannot be defaced or altered in any way.

All students will receive an ID card the first week of school

If an ID card is defaced with stickers, markings, etc., a replacement ID card will need to be
purchased during non-instructional time
Replacement ID cards cost Php 200.00 each/replacement lanyards cost Php 150.00
Non-compliance of the appropriate display of the student ID card will be considered a minor
offense.
