6. Project Background
• Prior to the bankruptcy of previous Baha Mar owners, PBCS was implemented
• Very rudimentary implementation, all data had to be hand keyed – daily
• Originally planned to implement Oracle G/L cloud, scraped and reverted back
to Great Plains
• Re-envisioned EPM project to support:
– Daily Operational Reporting
– Budget and Forecasting
– Monthly Financial Close
– Monthly Account Reconciliation

• Great Plains data automatically being pulled to FCCS using FDMEE
• One version of the truth, instead of utilizing various excel templates and pivots.
