Once upon a time there was a kind old man and woman. They had always wanted to have
children, and grandchildren, but of course they never did. One day the old woman
decided to make a son made out of gingerbread. She gave him a smart orange vest with
red buttons and a little yellow cap to keep his head warm. He had handsome blue eyes so
he could see her and her husband. Then she gave him ears, so he could hear her tell him
how much she loved him and a little smiley mouth so he could tell her how much he loved
her.

She tried to think of what she would say to him as she took him out of the oven. But
before she could get him he jumped up and ran out of the house “run run as fast as you
can, you can’t catch me I’m the gingerbread man!” The old woman ran as fast as she
could, but she couldn’t catch the little gingerbread man. As he ran down the street, he
came across a dog. “Run Run, as fast as you can, you can’t catch me I’m the gingerbread
man!”
Soon, he had the old woman, a dog, a cat, a bird, and a
bunch of children following him. He ran into a small trail in a forest. But soon he found a
very deep stream.

“And what are you doing in this part of the woods?” She asked, her voice sweet and harmonious.
“Running away away from a fox. Well First I was running away from an old woman who wanted to keep me as her son.
As if! ha! ” Blurted the little Ginger Bread man. But Snow White knew exactly what to do.

sweet as a strawberry. He couldn’t remember why he was running away frim the old
woman. “Exuse me, But I have to get back to my mother whom I love very much” and with
that note, he turned and skipped back. Snow White smiled to herself and they all lived
happily ever after.
