In order to write a good analysis of the Fairy Tale you read, answer these questions first.

These questions will get you thinking critically about the tale and allow you to order your thoughts. In other words, this worksheet is
the planning sheet for an analysis of the Fairy Tale you read.
Once you have completed these questions, use the information you have written out to write your analysis. Make sure you mention
what Fairy Tale you are analyzing and don't forget your name. It would be a good idea to write a paragraph for each question. This
way, your analysis will be easy to read and will also be thorough.

1. Write a short summary of the story you read.
The three little pigs had to leave home.
So the first little pig made a house of straw. The big bad wolf came and he huffed and he puffed and blew the house down and ate him.
The second little pig made a house of sticks. So the big bad wolf came nd he huffed and he puffed and blew the house down and ate
  him too.
The third little pig made a house of bricks. The big bad wolf came and tried to get into his house but he couln’t blow it down. So he
climbed up onto the roof and came down the chimney. But the little pig saw him put a pot of boiling water underneath the chimney.
When the wolf came down the chimney he fell into the pot of water and died.

 2. Define stereotype in your own words.
Stereotype is when you assume someone has to be like something.
2. Define stereotype in your own words.

Stereotype is when you assume someone has to be like something.

3. Identify and describe the stereotypes that are found in the Fairy Tale you read.

a. Female characters`
The Mother pig is stereotyped because when someone thinks of a Mum they think that they are
really nice and they just want to look after their children and only want the best for her little
   pigs.
b. Male characters
The big bad wolf is stereotyped because in fairy tales wolves are always bad and mean.
The three little pigs because when you hear the ‘little’ in three little pigs it makes you think that
they are young, so they can’t do much.

decided to make a son made out of gingerbread. She gave him a smart orange vest with
red buttons and a little yellow cap to keep his head warm. He had handsome blue eyes so

how much she loved him and a little smiley mouth so he could tell her how much he loved
her.

She tried to think of what she would say to him as she took him out of the oven. But
before she could get him he jumped up and ran out of the house “run run as fast as you
can, you can’t catch me I’m the gingerbread man!” The old woman ran as fast as she
