Ministry fruitfulness in today’s culture requires a combination of strong leadership, team development and a skill to relationally connect with a diverse community of people. I have successfully navigated the merger of a church in San Jose, CA that unified an African-American Congregation with a Caucasian Church and out of that planted four churches over a 20 year period of time as well as released countless people into various ministry assignments. As a male leader I have intentionally learned and developed my skills to be an effective leader with women because of my desire to not in any way have hidden barriers of gender bias.
