CELEBRATION OF OUR PATRON SAINT, SAN JUAN DE
MOSQUERA
11.00 h. Street procession and Assembly of the Fiesta
committee and the town Council accompained by the
musical group “La Primitiva” from Castell de Castells.
12.00 h. Mass sung by the "Choir Ifach" in honor of our
Patron San Juan. At the end, the Town Council has the
honor to invite all the villagers to a snack in the calle
Mayor. Events subsidized by the Town Council of
Alcalalí.
17.00 h. Children´s activities in the avenue Vall del Pop
until 20.00 h.
21.30 h. Assembly of the fiesta committee, the members
of staff and the Mayors of the villages of the Vall de Pop
with the Town Council in the Civic and Social Centre.
22.00 h. Procession in honour of San Juan de Mosquera.

Thursday, June 25 – MAJOR CELEBRATION
IN HONOUR OF SANTÍSIMO CRISTO DE LA
SALUD
11.00 h. Street Procession and assembly of the Fiesta
committee, children with bread for blessin, and the town
Council, organised by the Musical group “La Primitiva”
from Castell de Castells.
12.00 h. Blessing of the Bread, bestowing of medals of
the Fiesta committee members, followed by a solemn
Eucharist celebration in honour of Santísimo Cristo de la
Salud, sung by the Alcalalí choir. At the end of the mass
the blessed bread is shared out to all the people.
18.00 h. Theater in the “Cine Parroquial” Alicia en el País
de las Maravillas sponsored by the
Alicante Diputación and the Town Council.
21.30 h. Assembly of the Fiesta committee, the members
of staff, communicant children and the Town Council in
the Civic and Social Centre.

22.00 h. Procession in honour of Santísimo Cristo de la
Salud. When it arrives in the square a string of

the batucada “Colp i Repic” from Xaló and the group
“Danses Montolivet” (Valencia).
00.00 h. Live music with the group “SEVEN CRASHERS”
(Old Crash) in the avenue Vall del Pop.
Sunday, June 28
“COCÀ” DAY
12.00 h. Performance by the group “Danses Montolivet”
(Valencia).
20.00 h. Traditional “Cocà” in the Plaza del
Ayuntamiento, with wine of CVVP from Xaló.
Accompained by a musical “duo”.

Return of “Sant Joanet”
19.00 h. The return of the image “Sant Joanet” de
Mosquera to the hermitage, accompained by “Dolçaina i
tabalet”. After this there is an afternoon snack. (The
return will be made when the works from the hermitage
are finished).
The tickets for the BBQ, giant paella and “cocà” can be
collected at the old Town Hall, in the Plaza del
Ayuntamiento, on:
• Saturday 13 June from 19.00 to 21.00,
• Sunday 14 June from 21.30 to 22.30 and
• Wednesday 17 June from 21.30 to 22.30.
Note: The Festival Committee have got the autorich to
change or cancel any of the abor programe.
