2. Empire – Who are they? Empire are a four piece band based in Norwich. Formed in 2006 under the name ‘The Interpreters’, they played various shows around Norwich then the rest of the UK. The band have been on tour around Britain, including playing various o2 academies. Late 2008/ Early 2009 saw The Interpreters sign to All Sorted!?! Records and support bands such as The Twang, The Rascals, The Paddingtons, The Holloways & many other top names. Only recently have the band changed their name to ‘Empire’ and are releasing a new album in the coming months. Genre: Alternative, Indie, Powerpop, Rock
