Re: Public Speaking Competition – Area Conferences
Good day.
Public Speaking competition offers JCI members a unique opportunity to exercise
and showcase their abilities and to share ideas on important local, national and even
global issues. Public speaking is a critical skill of a leader who can motivate people
toward positive change. This competition requires a special kind of public speaking
and this challenges participants to express their creative ideas in a clear and
captivating manner.
The aforesaid competition is one of the most anticipated events during the Area
Conference as the winner of each area will become its representative for the National
Competition in October. In connection, attached herewith are the rules, guidelines
and criteria patterned from the JCI Asia Pacific Conference Public Speaking
Competition that your Area Chair for the said event can utilize as guide and
reference:
RULES:
1. The contestants shall address a given topic at the JCI Area Conferences.

of the judges is final and irrevocable.
Winners
There will be two (2) winners: champion and runner-up. The champion will be given
