1. How does your media product
represent particular social groups?

have focused on is
teenagers, we have
two main characters
which are Ben and

17 and average

out. intelligence.
Hood up to not
stand out. Popular
jumper, fashionable
.
Dark jacket again Dark trousers.
to not stand out.
Fashionable wellingtons.
4. How makeup represents teens.
When going to a party teenage girls usually wear make up so I have taken a screen shot of
where you can see the main female characters makeup, particularly the long eyelashes.
Very rarely girls go to a party without makeup so this helps the audience with the storyline
to know that they are stereotypical teenagers where the girls wear makeup and the boys
dress relatively smart as shown by the main male character.
5. How props used represent teens.
They find a torch after they
thought they would need
one. This is particularly
typical of teenagers not
being prepared.
Usually teenagers just dress
up to go to a party they
don’t think about anything
else such as travel, money
and in this case a torch.
6. How sound has been used to
represent teens.
We have used diegetic
sounds, the birds
tweeting shows the
main female character
taking her time, almost
lazy like a stereotypical
teenager.
7. How camera angles represent
teenagers
We have used a range of different camera angles
to represent teenagers, in this case we used a
close up to show Bens facial expression.
8. How dialogue represents teenagers
The way teenagers speak is very important, we tried
to use dialogue which is typical for teenagers. We
used a hint of sarcasm in our tone and a lack of
patience which most teenagers have.
9. How setting represents teenagers
The setting is extremely important. A lot of rebellious
teenagers often go to empty fields and forest to party, in
this case an old bunker. They walk through empty fields to
get there however do not make it.
