The University of Southern Mississippi partnered with the Mississippi Virtual Community College to increase flexibility and enrollment for online students. Through this partnership, USM students can take online courses from community colleges. Over 45 students enrolled in 62 community college courses in the first semester of the pilot program. The partnership provides a seamless enrollment process while allowing USM to expand its online course offerings. It has helped increase online enrollment at USM.
