Growing Pains

USM and MSVCC Partnership Established May 2010 Institutional buy-in (USM and MSVCC); Criteria established by USM and MSVCC USM serves as the Host, CJC is the Provider; no duplication of USM online courses Pilot consortium agreement for academic year 2010-11 (100 seats) Highly collaborative process within USM, MSVCC, and Blackboard Seamless process for enrollment, registration, financial aid, course access, scheduling, and transcripts  Courses available to USM students enrolled in FULLY online programs only Approximately 45 students with 62 total course enrollments (pilot phase, Fall 2010) Spring 2011 Enrollment– 106 total course enrollment, 15 sections
Logistical Challenges *Transcribed  as USM course with notation:“Through consortium agreement with MS Community College System” **MSVCC faculty credentialed at USM through HR process as  “affiliates” with University

2.	Redirected to MSVCC through Portal
ELO-MSVCC Domain 3.	Students log into elomsvcc.blackboard.com 	with same credentials for USM courses
