The Annexes to the Chicago Convention
Standard:
 Any specification for physical characteristics, configuration,
material, performance, personnel or procedure, the uniform
application of which is recognized as necessary for the safety
or regularity of international air navigation and to which
contracting States will conform in accordance with the
Convention; in the event of impossibility of compliance,
notification to the Council is compulsory under Article 38.

The Annexes to the Chicago Convention Standard:  Any specification for physical characteristics, configuration, material, performance, personnel or procedure, the uniform application of which is recognized as necessary for the safety or regularity of international air navigation and to which contracting States will conform in accordance with the Convention; in the event of impossibility of compliance, notification to the Council is compulsory under Article 38. References: Annex 8, 4.1.7 - Emergency landing provisions (Seat design, Evacuation, Number of exit and ditching. Generally designed standards of aircraft ensure as these requirements). Seriousness: Minor: Not all exits are serviceable, but properly deferred in accordance with MEL provisions Significant: Not all exits are serviceable and MEL provisions not applied.
