2. Why we are in need for it ?
Addiction medicine , is evident currently as
distinctive branch in psychiatry, proper
subspecialty.
Forming a homogeneity of scientific
community in addiction for education , training,
and researches.
Managing addiction, in our Arab countries is in
need for larger number of personnel and hours
for services.
3. ?Who will join the study and training
Psychiatrists.
Psychologists.
Psychiatry nurse staff.
After passing their main specialization in General
Psychiatry.
4. The curriculum in this proposal is
formed of
5 modules.
35 sections.
Time needed: 6 hrs./ section. ( 1 wks).
1 or 2 years training and exam.

II- Counseling ,psychotherapy .
III-Care and health services management.
IV- Prevention and Psycho education for the
patients and community.
V-Professional abilities and responsibilities.

the treating programs.

to addiction.
