Additional hardware (e.g. Blu-ray drive, HD or 10-bit monitor, TV tuner, HDMI connector) and/or software (e.g. multimedia applications) are required for the full enablement of some features. Not all features may be supported on all components or
systems - check with your component or system manufacturer for specific model capabilities and supported technologies.
1. AMD Steady Video is a technology designed to eliminate shakes and jitters during the playback of home video. Users may turn on this technology via the AMD Catalyst Control Center™ or the VISION Engine Control Center application. AMD
Steady Video will work with content that can run on Adobe® Flash® Player 10.2 (and later versions) or on any player which has been programed to use AMD’s decode acceleration (DXVA) engine. AMD Steady Video is not designed to (a) isolate
overlays, logos or captions, or (b) improve the playback of letter boxed, premium/commercial, or interlaced content. AMD Steady Video is only recommended for use with videos that contain unwanted shakes and jitters.
2. Testing conducted by AMD performance labs using a 2011 VISION A8-based notebook showed 634 minutes using (10:34 min) Windows Idle as a “Resting" metric. “Active” battery life using FutureMark® 3DMark™06 as workload test showed 163
minutes (2:43 min.). All battery life calculations are based on using a 6 cell Li-Ion 62.16Whr battery pack at 98% utilization for Win Idle and Mobilemark07 workload and 96% utilization for 3DMark06 workload. AMD defines “all-day” battery life as a
score of 8+ hours. by AMD performance labs on the 2011 AMD mainstream Notebook Platform show power consumption during Blu-Ray playback capable of up to 200 minutes on a single battery charge or enough for 2, 100 minute
movies. Testing was conducted using CyberLink PowerDVD 10 with a Hollywood movie at29Mbps with AVC encoding. Configs: The 2011 VISION A4-based PC consisted of the reference platform “Torpedo” with the AMD Dual-Core A4-3300M
APU, with AMD Radeon™ HD 6480G graphics, 2GB (1x2GB) DDR-1333Mhz system memory, and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with a 62.16Whr battery pack.
3. Testing conducted by AMD performance labs on the 2011 AMD mainstream Notebook Platform show power consumption during Blu-Ray playback capable of up to 200 minutes on a single battery charge or enough for 2, 100 minute

4. . Testing done in AMD Performance Labs using 3DMark Vantage – Performance Benchmark as a metric for visual performance, in the best of 3 runs. The AMD A8 APU-based system scored 4038 marks while the AMD A8 APU-based Dual
Graphics system scored 9021 marks. All scores rounded to the nearest whole number . The AMD A8 APU-based system is represented by the reference design codename "Armorhead", consisting of the AMD Quad-Core A8-3850 APU with AMD
Radeon™ HD 6550D Discrete Level Graphics, 8GB DDR3-1600 system memory, a Real SSD C300 hard drive (256G) and Microsoft Windows Ultimate 64-bit. The AMD A8 APU-based Dual Graphics system consists of the same hardware with the
addition of an AMD Radeon™ HD 6670 discrete graphics card, creating an AMD Quad-Core A8-3850 APU with AMD Radeon™ HD 6690D2 Dual Graphics-based system.
5. AMD Eyefinity technology works with games that support non-standard aspect ratios, which is required for panning across multiple displays. To enable more than two displays, additional panels with native DisplayPort™ connectors, and/or
DisplayPort™ compliant active adapters to convert your monitor’s native input to your cards DisplayPort™ or Mini-DisplayPort™ connector(s), are required. SLS (―Single Large Surface‖) functionality requires an identical display resolution on all
configured displays.
6. AMD Perfect Picture HD is a an image, video processing and display technology that features advanced de-interlacing, dynamic contrast adjustment, color vibrancy, noise reduction and edge enhancement that provides brilliant colors and sharp
images for smooth playback of Blu-ray and other HD content on your PC. CP-06
7. AMD Radeon™ Dual Graphics requires an AMD “A” series APU plus an AMD Radeon™ discrete graphics configuration and is available on Windows® 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows® 7 Home Premium, and/or Windows® 7 Home
Basic OS. Linux OS supports manual switching which requires restart of X-Server to engage and/or disengage the discrete graphics processor for dual graphics capabilities. Additional hardware (e.g. Blu-ray drive, HD or 10-bit monitor, TV tuner,
wirelessly enabled HDTV) and/or software (e.g. multimedia applications) are required for the full enablement of some features. HD Video display requires an HD video source. The AMD Radeon™ “G” series and AMD Radeon™ “G2” Dual Graphics
series and the AMD Radeon™ “D” series and AMD Radeon™ “A2” Dual Graphics series do not support AMD Eyefinity technology .Not all features may be supported on all components or systems - check with your component or system
manufacturer for specific model capabilities and supported technologies.
