mWater is a platform and community that collects and analyzes water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) data through mobile apps and tools. Their tools include apps for surveying and data exploration, an API, and custom solutions. mWater works with international organizations, local governments, and civil society groups to map and monitor WASH infrastructure in over 100 countries. They have provided emergency mapping of areas without infrastructure and rapid disease assessments. In 2015, mWater users submitted over 300,000 surveys from unique users in over 1,300 active countries.
