2. Why me, Lord
What have I ever done
that was worth even
one of the pleasures
that I’ve known
C’mon tell me Lord,
do you think there’s
a way I could try to
repay all the kindness
You’ve shown
3. Lord help me, Jesus, I’ve wasted it
Lord help me, Jesus, I know what I am
Now that I know that I needed ya
Lord help me, Jesus
My soul’s in Your hands
4. Tell me, Lord, what did I ever do that was worth lovin’
You and the kindness You’ve shown
C’mon tell me Lord, can I tell someone else what I’ve
been through myself on my way back to You
5. Lord help me, Jesus
I’ve wasted it
Lord help me, Jesus
I know what I am
Now that I know
that I needed ya
Lord help me, Jesus
My soul’s in Your hands
6. Lord help me,
Jesus
I’ve wasted it
Lord help me,
Jesus
I know what I am
Now that I know
That I needed ya
Lord help me,
Jesus
My soul’s in Your hands
7. Jesus, my soul’s in Your hands
WHY ME / RUPERT SPEED / RIDIN’ THE PINES
8. In memory of Adam W. Boxleitner, who passed away on
November 11, 2011, from complications of a traumatic brain injury
sustained in a motorcycle accident in June 2004.
The significance of this song is that Adam was the lead singer of the band,
Rupert SPEED at the time this song was recorded.
And it was recorded specifically for his mom,
Barbara Boxleitner.
Adam leaves behind a family who loved and cared for him deeply:
parents, Art and Barbara Boxleitner, brother, Jon, married to Heather
Boxleitner, brother Andy, married to Becky Boxleitner, brother, Erik Boxleitner,
sister, Joy, married to Jim Craun, nieces Bailey, Mercy and Jordan,
and nephews, Alex and Isaak.
He also leaves behind his friends:
those who touched his life and whose lives he touched.
Adam was a Harley enthusiast, but due to his brain injury, he could not ride
on his own. His brother, Andy made it possible for Adam to ride again by
having a custom sidecar installed on his Harley. In the few months
preceding Adam’s death, they had several opportunities to ride together.
That was when Adam was happiest.
Thank you, Adam, for loving all of us. Our lives are not the same without
you, but they are all better because you were a part of it.
