How you can offer support?
If you consider that one or more of the above activities deserve to be supported, do not hesitate to offer your support!
To be able to accomplish each of the proposed activities, we need investments in:
- the location's infrastructure: finishing the building for the camping toilets, accomplishing the perimeter drainage of the house, renovating the basement, increasing the accommodation capacity by building rooms in the attic, renovating the house extensions, constructing a climbing wall, purchasing a set of bicycles, purchasing camping equipment, constructing some ropes courses at a low and medium height.
- supporting the educational activities by covering the costs of the activities, the accommodation and the meals for the volunteers.

EDUCATION FOR LIFE
Education for life
Developing activities that enable children to learn
directly from the local craftsmen.
We want to develop projects for the children living in
the community and to make them aware of the cultural
heritage which surrounds them.
We are promoting the Saxon cultural heritage and we
can arrange visits to specific fortified monasteries from
the Hârtibaciu Plateau giving them an enjoyable
experince.

traditional
craftsmen.
7. + Social involvement
Developing projects for the local community.
Each project developed in nocrich has also a
community related involvement .
We helped at the rehabilitation of the sibiu - agnita
narrow gauge line.
We got involved in the renovation of a medieval
tower from the fortification of the church.
The scout center's volunteers provide information
to the tourists and give them the opportunity to
visit the evangelical church and the renovated
towers.
We want to provide projects also for the children
living in the local community because many of
them come from disadvantaged environments.
We want to provide them the opportunity to meet
youth from all over the country and the world.
We want them to acquire communication skills in
different foreign languages.

Sponsors: not have come to life and certainly would not have been
where it is right now
Thanks to the substantial
support received from our
supporters from 2010 and
until 2012 the scout centre
managed to host a total of
over 1000 children and
young people who have
experienced the non-formal
education through The Scout
Method. Also, a total of 200
adults participated in
trainings organized until now
in this location.
Therefore, with the received support we were able to renovate the entire house both
inside and outside, to have a functional barn for activities, to have functional summer
showers that are equipped with solar panels, to buy and give in use the treatment plant for
the toilets and the showers from the house, to support a permanent employee, an
administrator of the scout centre, who can ensure its functionality. In 2012 we managed to
renovate the wall from the street, the facade, we managed to restore the gate with a lily
flower, we assembled the cellar doors and we renovated the wood shelter.
Thanks to the support received in 2012 we are now working at a construction for the
camping which is consisting of camping toilets, showers and sinks that will ensure hygiene
and comfort for the scouts and the guests of the scout centre.
