I am looking for a challenging opportunity in CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR position (Oil and gas field in
any location). I have been WORKING in this field for last 18 years as control room operator in LNG
upstream, offshore & onshore oil & gas production operation.
Presently I am employed as a CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR on a 28/28 rotational basis with Petroleum
Development Oman a Shell joint venture company in Oman. I am responsible for the day to day operation
of the gas production facilities which produces approx.45 MMSCM/D of dry gas, 15000 M3 of condensate
and 170 tonnes of LPG. Job responsibility includes comply with PDO HSEMS, monitoring and controlling
of the production facilities through DCS from CCR, Communicating effectively and lead the field

2. operators, active member of Emergency response team, carry out mock drills, daily and monthly
production reporting, identifying isolation points for maintenance activities through PEFS, Part of periodic
inspection of F&G and ESD systems, updating various registers (like LO,LC, Safety override in place,
Variance of PDO procedures), PTW signatory, Co-ordinate activities with other departments, control gas
quality, Shut down preparation, Shut down and start up of the plant, assist in commissioning new/

• Assist to establish the appropriate procedure and computerized maintenance management processes
as applicable to a prudent operation management, in particular the permit to work system

parameters on SCADA system

with the section operators
. Control the feed tonnage, water and grinding media addition
. Maintain density to allow for optimum sizing of ground material in
the circuit
. Reporting any faults to the shift advisor and ensuring the plant is
running within the set parameters.
. Working closely with the process control group with regards to
operational changes and trouble shooting of circuit deficiencies
through the SCADA system.
