It has wide marine flora and fauna diversity. Around the lake various plants species are also found such as Jeffry pine, lodgepole Pine and the likes. There are also a dry meadow and brush fields Ceanothus that give way to the nitrogen fixation making possible to make the soil look more fertile. There are various processes that you can notice in and out of this body of water. Eutrophication of the lake has currently destroyed marine organisms as well as the vegetation around it. This is supported by records of alterations in the population of various marine species, specifically Zooplankton, inhabiting the lake. Destruction of the lake is indeed something that needs to addressed, otherwise, the beauty of this body of water would be in danger.
