2. My Background
■ Aged 16 – Apprentice mono-caster in the print trade
■ Aged 16 3/4 – Back to school to do A levels
■ Aged 18 – Long hot summer so sold ice cream
■ Aged 26 – Very long hot summer, gave up work, lay on beach
■ Started Humanities degree at Hatfield Poly
■ Students need somewhere to live so started a Housing Co-operative
■ Graduated and worked in Housing Management
■ Moved into Social Housing Development
■ Joined Barratt Homes, then New Age Homes as Development Director
■ In 1998 started own consultancy company
