LinkedIn is THE largest professional social network
with almost 140 million users online today and a
highly targeted audience of business professionals.


If you are in the B2B sector and you do not have a
powerful LinkedIn presence, you are almost
DEFINITELY missing out on valuable opportunities to
connect and grow YOUR business.
LinkedIn – Getting started
Leveraging the power of LinkedIn begins with a solid
professional profile & presence.
As a professional how do you stand out from the
LinkedIn crowd?
How are you different to your competitors?
What is YOUR LinkedIn USP?
What will make your profile visitors want to learn more
about YOU and YOUR company?

begin building your influence…”

referrals & valuable business opportunities.
LinkedIn – Complete your LinkedIn profile 100%


LinkedIn suggests having a completed profile gives
you a 40% greater chance for networking success.
They (LinkedIn) make it easy to understand HOW to
achieve that 100% completion.
LinkedIn – Top tips to complete your profile
1.   Upload a professional image
2.   Create a compelling headline – 120 characters
3.   List your current position & at least 2 past positions
4.   Complete the “summary” section of your profile
5.   Complete the “specialities” section of your profile
6.   Give recommendations FIRST – you need at least 3
     recommendations to label your profile COMPLETE
7.   Complete the Interests & Groups/Associations section
8.   Edit your Public LinkedIn URL, this will help you get
     found on the major search engines i.e Google
9. Customise your website listings – up to 3 can be listed
10. Include links to Twitter/Facebook /your Blog
LinkedIn – Applications & more
1.   Slideshare – video/presentations displayed
2.   Reading list by Amazon
3.   Travel & events – showcase your schedule/activity
4.   Wordpress or Blog link – pull your blog posts here
5.   Polls – Conduct your own market research
