Rocket Separation Overview
 The Kentucky Department of Environmental Protection approved the Class II permit
modification on November 27, 2013.
 Construction contracts for the modification are scheduled to be awarded in
mid December 2013.
 The Blue Grass Chemical Activity continues to conduct exercises, dry-runs, rehearsals
and training for proficiency and certification. The Chemical Materials Activity (CMA) will
certify the operation prior to commencement.
 Schedule:
 CMA Site Visit completed (2-6 December 2013)
 Igloo Modification: January 2014 - February 2014
 Pre-Op Survey: March 2014
 Begin Operations: Late March 2014
 Notifications will be made to the CAC/CDCAB, elected officials, congressional liaisons, and
media prior to the start of operations and updates will be provided throughout the operation.
