2. What is Helpfulness? Helpfulness is being in service to others.

3. What is the Virtue of Helpfulness? Helpfulness is doing something thoughtful that makes a difference in the life of someone else.

4. What is the Virtue of Helpfulness? …is offering your help without having to be asked.

5. What is the Virtue of Helpfulness? …asking for help when you need it.

6. How does it work? Remember the bucket theory…

7. How does it work? …when you help someone out..you are really filling their bucket!

8. How does it work? …and remember you actually fill your own bucket when helping fill others!

9. How can you practice helpfulness? Notice when someone needs help….and act.

10. How can you practice Helpfulness everyday? Help someone or something without being asked.

11. How can you practice Helfpfulness everyday? Listen to someone that needs to talk…just listen.

16. What is bullying? Punching, shoving, and other acts that hurt people physically Getting certain people to "gang up" on others

17. What is bullying? Spreading bad rumors about people Keeping certain people out of a "group“ Teasing people in a mean way

18. Why do people BULLY? Usually people bully because they themselves are feeling weak and powerless and bullying someone else will make them feel stronger, smarter or simply better.

19. The Truth… But we know that when you dipinto someone’s bucket to fill your own...it just serves to empty your own bucket

20. So today we celebrate Anti Bullying Day Do something about bullying... Stand Up... Ask for help... Support the person being bullied...

21. So today we celebrate Anti Bullying Day Do something about bullying... Make a commitment to yourself and to others Make school a safe and happy place for everyone
