2. Background

3. Being twins of 1947, Pakistan and Jamiat both share the ideological identity which characterizes symbolism of Islamism that kindles hope for the Muslim community.

4. Pakistan at the moment houses the largest number of youth in its history as about 60% of its total population is below 25 years of age.

5. If this energy, the youth is put to proper use, it will bring about a complete social, economic, cultural and ideological revolution in the country.

6. However, recent surveys delineate that Pakistani youth has not been satisfied with the direction in which the country is heading towards. To them, its future seems sliding into obscurity leading to sheer decline in optimism and hope amongst the youth.

7. In this scenario, with proper hindsight, Islami Jamiat Talaba is going to arrange a General Convention (Ijtama-e-Aam) on 15-16-17 October, 2011 at Punjab University. This convention will serve as a hallmark to regenerate the youth and will be followed by a massive complain to approach millions of peoples.

8. IJTAMA-E-AAM This convention will be the first drop of rain to change the future of country. To orchestrate this grand plan, your financial contributions are of vital importance for us.
