It is in picture format, which is then
annotated under the pictures to describe
what would happen in each scene including
things like shot type, time and camera angle.
A risk assessment is laid out as a table and in
each column it has the risk and risk and how
you can control the risk from not happening.

intended product?
This document is very crucial to pre
production because it is the base line plan to
what a film is going to plan out like and
whether it would work or not.
This document is also crucial because it
would show any hazard which could occur in
the making of the film or intended product.
How helping is this document with regards
to visualising the final product?
Is it very helping because it gives a basic but
detailed visualisation to each scene of the
film and how it would likely act out.
This document is slightly helpful because it
can point out potential hazards but it
wouldn’t help in visualising the final product.
How easy is it to make this document? Do
you need any expertise/special staff?
It is relatively easy to produce a very basic
copy of a storyboard but to do a detailed
one you’d likely need skilled directors to see
what is possible. It may take a lot of time
It might not be very easy because you would
need to go into depth about any little thing
that could cause a hazard to someone.

This document is a drawing, which is a rough
plan to outline visually what a newspaper
article may look like and any changes that
need to be made.
This is in table format which shoes what
shots would be used in a magazine page and
the description of each shot etc.
How crucial is this document in
reviewing/revising/discounting ideas for the
intended product?
This is fairly crucial because it is the base of
how a page is going to be laid out and it can
show what would need to be changed and
where text would be placed.
It’s crucial because it describes in detail what
shots are used and how they have been shot
including the angle but the final newspaper
wouldn’t have this information on.
How helping is this document with regards to
visualising the final product?
Very helping as the mock up helps the
producer of the magazine/newspaper visual
what the page would look like once it is
finished.
Sort of because as I explained before the
final newspaper wouldn’t state what shots
are used when talking the picture it would
just show the picture.
How easy is it to make this document? Do
you need any expertise/special staff?
Quite easy because it is just a very rough
drawing of how a page may look, it can be re
done and improved many times to find the
best lay out.
For this document you would need a
photographer to state what shots are used in
each pictures and a description of what is in
each shot.

3. Script Equipment list
What format is this document? Does it have
any particular rules it must follow with
regards to format?
It is done using courier new font in size 12 to
replicate type writer format. At the start of
the script ‘fade in’ is the first thing written
then state what is happening in the scene.
Is it a table which states where and who the
equipment has come from and what the date
was when borrowed.
How crucial is this document in
reviewing/revising/discounting ideas for the
intended product?
Very crucial because you need a script to be
able to know what to say in a radio broadcast
or podcast otherwise it may not sound
professional.
Very crucial because it shows what has been
borrowed each day and if something is lost
you would know who is belongs to etc.
How helping is this document with regards to
visualising the final product?
It is helpful in visualising the final product
because it is what a presenter would read off
throughout the podcast and that is what the
podcast would end up sounding like,
It isn’t very helpful in visualising the final
product because it states the equipment
used for a podcast which isn’t relevant to the
final product.
How easy is it to make this document? Do
you need any expertise/special staff?
Is it relatively easy to make but you would
need to know what is going to be said
through the whole podcast which may take a
while to sort out.
It may also be easy to list what equipment is
used because you just need to list what you
need and then get someone to validate it.

Very crucial because it shows where your
getting the graphics for your production from
which will help you when putting the
production together.

visualising the final product?
Sort of helping because it can tell you where
you can source the images but it doesn’t
show you a final visual of what the product
will look like.
How easy is it to make this document? Do
you need any expertise/special staff?
Fairly easy because you just need to state
where the visuals have come from and why
you are using them in relation to the final
product.

a character needed for a production. It may
include anything they are restricted to do.

Fairly crucial because it can show if they
match the specs needed for the character a
production would want including looks and
anything they may or may not be able to do.
How helping is this document with regards to
visualising the final product?
It helps in a way that this shows a character
which could be included in the final product.
How easy is it to make this document? Do
you need any expertise/special staff?
Partially easy to make however you would
need all the details from the candidate to
make sure all the details on the profile are
correct.
