on the social, political and economical regarding the trends of life in the past and its evolution.
The shreds of evidence would base on the media as the integral element to polish up the paper.
The paper much concern shall dwell on the electricity related technologies as the essential tool
for providing the paper strong arguments based on facts. The argument of whether the medium
of new communication technologies has led to an effect of our time and space. It is for a fact in
the past decades time and space was not much consumed by communication technologies and
electricity related ones since there was the lack of proper infrastructure established during those
periods. The past generation time and space mainly spent on cultural activities and farming. The
argument above does not dismiss the fact that instances there was the existence of few elements
of electricity and communication technologies. It raises the point of time and space in today`s
generation the consumerism of new communication and electricity related technologies has
increased significantly. The past generation time and space was dependent on Telegraph as the
primary communication tool for every aspect of their lives; social, political and economic.
Introduction
The influence of new communications and electricity technologies plays fundamental roles
whose benefits are undoubted, but not only does promote moral learns and useful function as in
some instances it has gone against the accepted moral ethics. The situation as per the globe
currently is the vulnerability for the obvious reasons of technological advancements in
Applications, networking and broadband wireless services availability. New communications
and electricity technologies have experienced bittersweet results and impacts that users engage in
them. The bittersweet experience is evidential in the sense that the new communications and
electricity technologies used for learning purposes hence bringing up a generation educated and
informed and in that endeavor also it has chances of negativity to the teenagers in instances of
immorality sources accessed by them. It can be either willingly or unknowingly depending on
the teenager intentions and moral aspects.
The paper wishes to take an example of social media as the medium in comparison with
telegraph taking much on little time and space. The model will take a keen interest in
establishing the primary drive towards each party choice and preference and examine the reasons
for given period use of their preferred choice. The reality of the matter is that both of the choices
above affected the social life, political and economic. The impacts caused to the population
might be essence or negativity but is worth to be tackled in the paper so as to offer unique
information on new communications and electricity technologies.
Chou, Chien, Linda Condron, and John C. Belland. (2005). A Review of the Research on
Internet Addiction. Educational Psychology Review. 363-388.
The article touches on the important aspect of users spending much of their time on the internet.
The impacts cause to the users has adverse results to them, in the sense that social interactions
are either of beneficial or not. Internet ease availability and cheapness to afford has led to the
higher demand for the commodity, thus leading to more levels and users increase. The increase
in demand has resulted in powerful internet addiction to the users. The youths are the most
culpable victims as they engage in using the internet to better their social interactions. The
improvement of Internet infrastructure has resulted in more time and space spent on the platform,
unlike the past generation that had the telegraph. The reasons for more time and space spent on
new communication and electricity technology the internet are the user-friendly features that it
offers in preference to telegraph. The fact that the internet can provide audio and video
communication features proves to be the catalyst for more time and space spent on it.
The psychological effects of the internet that it causes to the uses are a lack of adequate sleep
which results in disruption of the sleep pattern. It is because of the internet addiction that they
take much of their time that they are supposed to rest in using it. Most of the internet users spend
many hours during the night and some day time hence deterring them the attention of other
things. Among users tiredness of the mind due to not getting enough sleep affects their daily
work or school performance. The impact is dire among teenagers as it affects them significantly
since the parents have no total control over them. The effects result to the problem the teenagers
being vulnerable to illnesses just by the fact of not getting enough sleep.
Genevieve Marie Johnson. (2010). Internet Use and Child Development: Validation of the
Ecological Techno-subsystem. Journal of Educational Technology & Society. 176- 185.
The article tackles child development under the influence of the internet. The child under the
development of internet would always be on the verge of getting any information or
mathematical problems solved via the internet. It is because the internet provides any
information that one requires but it takes the capability of the user to establish the credibility of
the information accessed. The child mind would develop into more testing credibility other than
the ability to reason out by them. The child mental ability is slowed down and dependent on the
external sources to provide answers and solutions. It is a major problem that would affect the
child mental growth and regarding academics,’ it becomes a grave concern for the parents and
guardians. The other scenario where the child is affected is the development and growth as the
child has no time to play. It is because of the internet nature of addiction. The child is at the risk
of illness such obesity due to lack of enough physical exercises to keep the muscles fit.
Gibson, R. K., and I. Mcallister. (2014). New Media, Elections and the Political Knowledge Gap
in Australia. Journal of Sociology, 337-53.
The article prioritizes the fundamental goals achieved by the internet in educating the masses. It
can be termed as class away from school since it can be accessed at any location depending on
the knowledge seeker choice. Internet portability proves too vital as any information the
Providence. The challenge that the platform faces in its intended use of educating is its
contribution to information gap in Australia. The contributing factor towards this disadvantage in
Australia is because information feeders to the internet in most cases have presented related to
the previous one done. It possesses a challenge to fill the gap as the same ideology captured and
no unique angle to fill the gap. The confidence of taking the responsibility to present unique
information is not there; hence, the situation does find a lasting solution.
Reisoglu, Ilknur, Nuray Gedik, and Yüksel Göktas. (2013). Relationship between University
Students' Levels of Self-Esteem, Emotional Intelligence and Problematic Internet use. Egitim ve
Bilim. 38.170.
The article posits self-esteem and emotional courage the university or college students have
against peer pressure. A good example would the internet effect influence on body image among
the feminine gender. The most obvious habits of the female students are their affinity for fashion.
It makes them fashionable throughout all time. Female students liking to fashion would make
them share images and information pertaining a particular style that whose price is high. It makes
the other population that cannot achieve such finance to feel unfortunate. The most trending
fashion items worldwide currently are dependent on the internet. A good example is the skin
lightning that most of the female celebrities and artists have developed interest. It is major
because they saw it or is tending and this they do not want to be left out.
Conclusion
The internet in the paper has presented both the negative and positive results. It calls upon every
person to play a responsibility concerning the relevance of the information so as the internet can
play fundamental objectives to the users. It requires regulation and monitoring to curb issues on
social outcomes that are damaging and health hazards. It would help in controlling the dangerous
aspects and clean up the rogue users of the internet. The society and parents as a whole have a
role to play to make the campaign successful, as it is a collective responsibility. The Internet
plays a big part in enabling communication.
