1. Clean the environment of the home
before you begin the ruqyah.
1.Before you begin your treatment you need to prepare your
home. The environment of your home should be free of the sound of
music(reference1 ), let the audio of surat al bakarah ( reference 2),
adhan ( reference 3), or ruqyah work most of the time in your
home.
2. Take off any wall pictures or statues that represent animals or
human ( reference 4).
3. Sometime, the patient didn’teat or drink the sihr in the past. The sihr
could be outside the body of the patient. In this case, lookat your home for
any hidden shir. Generally, in the home that has sihr, the family will feel
morecomfortable to be outsidethan insidetheir home. In addition, the person
to whom the sihr was donewill feel uncomfortableor hate some area of the
home, for example bedroom or kitchen. If you havethis feeling check this area
to look of any hidden sihr. A lot of time the sihr was given inside gifts, then
investigate in your stuff if you suspectanything. If you didn’tfind sihr, then
make a lot of duathat if any sihr was doneto you find it. Some people made
duaand they had dreamsthat showed them exactly where to go to find the
sihr. If you find any sihr put it in ruqyah water (read and blow surat-al Falak
and surat Annasin the water), to nullify it. If the sihr has knots, you need to
unknotthem, don’tforget to make the duato seek refugefrom evil when you
are touching the sihr (you can find these duaat the end of this article). To
avoid any renew of the sihr, by the person who did it in the first time, you
should keep the ruqyah very private.

Narrated Abu 'Amir or Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari:
that he heard the Prophet (‫)ﷺ‬ saying, "From among my followers there will be some people who will
consider the fornication, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical
instruments, as lawful. And there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the
evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say
to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.' Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on
them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of
Resurrection."

Do not make your houses as graveyards. Satan runs away from the house in which Surah Baqarah is
recited.

Allah's Messenger (‫)ﷺ‬ said, "When the Adhan is pronounced Satan takes to his heels and passes wind
with noise during his flight in order not to hear the Adhan. When the Adhan is completed he comes back
and again takes to his heels when the Iqama is pronounced and after its completion he returns again till
he whispers into the heart of the person (to divert his attention from his prayer) and makes him remember
things which he does not recall to his mind before the prayer and that causes him to forget how much he
has prayed."
