4. Mobile gaming challenges in emerging markets
• High ARPU VAS users are now primarily smartphone users who are
more inclined to download from Google Play or I-tunes app store.
• Feature phone users are low ARPU and thus price sensitive which
makes pay per download an unattractive proposition for customers.
• High level of fragmentation in handset usage in feature phone
segment including high level of Chinese MTK handset usage which can’t
