Quick show of hands...how many of you are responsible for delivering continuing ed in your association? OK, great! Like you, I also serve in this capacity and our positions closely align to that of producers. There are many similarities, including the three mentioned here.
In short, Content Is King and it's up to us to synthesize and curate information, to specific audiences, and see to it that it's delivered in the best format at the right time to these audiences. And, like producers, we are concerned about ratings...we use this information to direct future programming.
Does anybody else have a comparison between the newsroom and association that you can think of?
