The multiple options for neural network acceleration in recent Arm-based platforms provides an unprecedented opportunity for new intelligent devices with ML inference. It also raises the risk of fragmentation and duplication of efforts when multiple frameworks shall support multiple accelerators.
Andrea Gallo, Linaro VP of Segment Groups, will summarise the existing NN frameworks, model description formats, accelerator solutions, low cost development boards and will describe the efforts underway to identify the best technologies to improve the consolidation and enable the competitive innovative advantage from all vendors.

The session will be useful for executives to engineers. Executives will gain a deeper understanding of the issues and opportunities. Engineers at NN acceleration IP design houses will take away ideas for how to collaborate in the open source community on their area of expertise, how to evaluate the performance and accelerate multiple NN frameworks without modifying them for each new IP, whether it be targeting edge computing gateways, smart devices or simple microcontrollers.
Benefits to the Ecosystem
The AI deep learning neural network ecosystem is starting just now and it has similar implications with open source as GPU and video accelerators had in the early days with user space drivers, binary blobs, proprietary APIs and all possible ways to protect their IPs. The session will outline a proposal for a collaborative ecosystem effort to create a common framework to manage multiple NN accelerators while at the same time avoiding to modify deep learning frameworks with multiple forks.

ML development brings many new complexities beyond the traditional software development lifecycle. Unlike in traditional software development, ML developers want to try multiple algorithms, tools, and parameters to get the best results, and they need to track this information to reproduce work. In addition, developers need to use many distinct systems to productionize models. To address these problems, many companies are building custom “ML platforms” that automate this lifecycle, but even these platforms are limited to a few supported algorithms and to each company’s internal infrastructure.
In this session, we introduce MLflow, a new open source project from Databricks that aims to design an open ML platform where organizations can use any ML library and development tool of their choice to reliably build and share ML applications. MLflow introduces simple abstractions to package reproducible projects, track results, and encapsulate models that can be used with many existing tools, accelerating the ML lifecycle for organizations of any size.

You have your shiny new DSL up and running thanks to the Eclipse Modeling Technologies and you built a powerful tooling with graphical modelers, textual syntaxes or dedicated editors to support it. But how can you see what is going on when a model is executed ? Don't you need to simulate your design in some way ? Wouldn't you want to see your editors being animated directly within your modeling environment based on execution traces or simulator results?
The GEMOC Research Project designed a methodology to bring animation and execution analysis to DSLs. The companion technologies required to put this in action are small dedicated components (all open-source) at a "proof of concept" maturity level extending proven components : Sirius, Eclipse Debug, Xtend making such features within the reach of Eclipse based tooling. The general intent regarding those OSS technologies is to leverage them within different contexts and contribute them to Eclipse once proven strong enough. The method covers a large spectrum of use cases from DSLs with a straightforward execution semantic to a combination of different DSLs with concurrent execution semantic. Any tool provider can leverage both the technologies and the method to provide an executable DSL and animated graphical modelers to its users enabling simulation and debugging at an early phase of the design.
This talk presents the approach, the technologies and demonstrate it through an example: providing Eclipse Debug integration and diagram animation capabilities for Arduino Designer (EPL) : setting breakpoints, stepping forward or backward in the execution, inspecting the variables states... We will walk you through the steps required to develop such features, the choices to make and the trade-offs involved. Expects live demos with simulated blinking leds and a virtual cat robot ! This talks presents also xCapella an industrial use case onwhich the Gemoc methodology was applied.

significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
