1. Cultural and educational rights are rights
guaranteed by the constitution to religious
and linguistic groups and other minority
groups in India, to enable them to preserve
their culture, language and script. They have
the right to choose the education they want
to pursue.
3. Why do we need Cultural and Educational
rights ?
India is a democartic country. Working of democracy
gives power to the majority. It is the culture, language
and religion of minorities that has to be protected. If
not, then they may get neglected under the impact
language, religion and culture of majority.
Hence, we need cultural and educational rights to
ensure that minorities and citizens have the rights to
follow their religion and belief without being
dominated by the majority groups.

rights are :
Article 29: Indian constitution guarantees the protection of
interest in minorities.
Article 30: Indian Constitution guarantees the right of
minorities to establish and administer educational
institutions of their choice.
