2. What is Coordination?

3.  Coordination is a process of joining clauses
together by using a coordinator such as :
( and , but , or ).
 Coordinating conjunctions connect
words, phrases or clauses.

Ex: Tom bought a book and a
pen .
Ex: The weather will be rainy or changeable.
AP + COORDINATOR + AP
Ex: The weather will be warm but windy .
AP + COORDINATOR +AP

5.  In linguistics, coordination is a complex
syntactic structure that links together two or
more elements.
 Coordination is defined as a grammatical linking of
two or more words, phrases or clauses belonging to
the same category ,in order to give the structures
joined equal prominence.

6.  The test is based on the universal linguistic
principle that only units are the same category can
normally be linked together by the syntactic
construction.
