2. Streaming at 4K 60FPS, is it
Possible or Unnecessary?
Why it may or may not be a big deal.

Is it
Possible?
Yes, as of right now it is currently entirely
possible. It isn’t the easiest to achieve though
considering you will require some of the
strongest internet the world has to offer right
now. So, while it is possible, it’s nowhere close
to being widespread available.
4. How Common
is It?
4
It’s basically only used by big time
companies using satellites (Direct
TV streaming American football in
4K for example.
Ludwig (left) and XQC (right) are
two of the world’s biggest content
creators. Even they don’t stream in
4K 60FPS. Not even in 1440p. But
why is that?
5. Why Can Only Big Companies
Manage 4K Streaming?
The number of resources needed to be able to maintain a signal of
that strength is ridiculous. A lot of regular internet customers can
barely manage a 1080p stream which generally only requires up to
an 8mps upload, but you have to hold that consistently over a long
period of time. Now try maintaining roughly 50mps upload
consistently for 8 hours.
6. No not entirely. The strength of a network structure can hold back how well
resources are managed. The stronger the network, the fast and more stable
internet will become.

Are Resources the Only Thing Holding
4K Streaming Back?
7. Complications
of Having a
Strong Network
• Having and maintaining a strong
network can be a huge financial
hardship.
• There are a ton of pieces of
equipment that have to be
maintained and kept operational
for a network to work properly.
• The picture to the left shows all
the different pieces of equipment
needed to use or maintain a
stable connection.

8. How Can We Solve the Issue of Slow
Internet?
• Solving the issue of slow internet is no easy task and will take
probably decades to fix. Unfortunately, it will be a lengthy process.
• Starting with processors would be a great start. The faster the
initial device can run, the more data it can push. Ram cards would
help here too.
• Next would be cables. Fiber optic is currently one of the best to
use for networking, so maybe figuring out as balance in a thinker
cable, or the possibility of discovering a better cable type might be
better.
• Some drawbacks to this is resources are not infinite. There are
only so many cables, processors, or ram cards we can make.
• There is also the possibility that we eventually hit a technological
cap in our development. This means that we’ve exhausted all possible
outcomes and have hit a developmental limit with whatever resources
remain on Earth. Essentially, find new resources on other planets to
make our technological advances.

9. Conclusion
Yes, it is entirely possible to stream 4K 60FPS
but it isn’t a necessity.
In the future with better technology I would
definitely say yes but you will end up killing
your computer attempting a stream with that
quality.
