Creating a SKYPE Meeting
Start by creating a meeting just as we did in the previous module.

Adding your SKYPE sessionâŚ
Once you open a meeting invite (shown in the previous module)
you will see several options at the top. Hover your mouse over
âSkype Meetingâ and click âAdd Skype Meetingâ. This will add
the details at the bottom of the text box and list the location as
âonlineâ. Continue scheduling the meeting as normal.

When time for
your meeting to
start, double click
the meeting item
in your calendarâŚ
Once inside your
invite, hover your
mouse over âSkype
Meetingâ and click
âJoin Skype
Meetingâ

This will open a new window. If the
session does not open automatically,
you may have to click âJoin using
Lync Web App insteadâ

A new window will open.
You will need to click
âLaunch Applicationâ to
continue.
You will be prompted for
your Username. This is
your BBBB Username
and Password (What you
use to login to your
computer and email).
Enter the information in
below and click âOKâ.
Make sure to include
âbbbbâ before your
username.

Once in the session the screen will look like the image blow.
You may either participate on the meeting utilizing the speakers and
microphone on your computer or by dialing in to the number also
listed on the invite.
To utilize the phone, follow the conference line, follow the conference
line instructions discussed earlier.

To present, click the computer monitor at the bottom of the window
pane. You can present various options such as a certain program, a
presentation, or the whole desktop as seen below:

When presenting on a computer with multiple monitors, you may be
prompted to select which monitor(s) you wish to present. You will
know what is being presented as it will be surrounded by a yellow box
as seen below:

To stop presenting, click the monitor icon again, and click âManage
Presentable Contentâ and click âStop presenting contentâ.

To exit at the conclusion of the meeting, click âExit Meetingâ in the
top right corner:
