the last decades he has seen advancing the electronics in wonderful proportions. Currently an industrial
engineer has design, production and control tools that go beyond what an experienced industrial engineer
could imagine in 1950. Since computers can be programmed to solve large and complex problems, they can
become an interactive device that help in the design of a plant distribution or a production mechanism; can
become the basis of numerical control machining and quality control, for example the computer controlled
robots can provide hands to produce more accurately, without any danger and more continuously than
human hands, this is undoubtedly something very different from what existed a few years ago, hence an
industrial engineer must be updating.
