4. BF Delegate Visit North East Japan
-First of all, visiting the Tsunami stricken area
along the Japanese east cost was really heart-
breaking. But I have learned what our y’s men
with YMCA had done for the recovery.
Many volunteer works from Y’s Men and YMCA
members and families – domestics as well as
worldwide. I saw the True Brotherhood. I also
realized they are still facing many difficulties to
recover their physical and mental health.

The Young Men's Christian Association ("YMCA" or "the
Y") is a worldwide movement of more than 48 million
members from 125 national federations affiliated
through the World Alliance of YMCAs.
Founded on June 6, 1844 in London, England by George
Williams, the goal of the organization was putting
Christian principles into practice, achieved by
developing "a healthy spirit, mind, and body."
