2. Category Brief 2020
Whatâs the Ambition?
Develop a product or service that assists Good Fairies in their quest for more Good Fairy volunteers.
This year Good Fairies cooperate with 12 orphanages. In some homes, we have a stable team of volunteers; the
other orphanages are visited just by individuals, and some orphanages only join us for the camps or weekend
stays but have not been able to provide them with regular visits.âOur homesâare in central Bohemia, Usti nad
Labem region, Olomouc region and south Moravia region. We are looking for volunteers all over the Czech
Republic.
Who is the target audience?
Everyone. New enthusiastic volunteers with a sense of humour and a big heart. The age does not matter;
young students as well as grandmas can become a Good Fairy.
They are aged over 18 and must be interested in other people and empathetic, have a sense of humour, be
happy to dedicate their time to children. No professional training is required, although experts from all
sectors are welcome. A willingness for long-term cooperation would be desirable.
What is the Campaign Challenge?
The goal of the campaign is to find at least 30 new volunteers who will regularly visit children in orphanages
by 30.9.2022. And to bring love and joy into more children's lives.
Our goal and wish are to show children that someone is interested in them and wants to know what they
think, what they do and how they feel.
What is the current Key message?
A Hug Is More Than a Toy!
âWe can not influence what the children have gone through, but we want them to believe that they can live
happy lives. We would like each child in every orphanage to have their very own Good fairy.â
Children in the orphanages miss individual attention and care. Good Fairies give their time, interest and love.
Join us, support the children who were not lucky at the beginning of their lives.
What is our Tone of voice?
Caring, friendly, funny. The current motto of our volunteers is âI am a Fairy, dude!â
What is our Budget?
Because of the war in Ukraine, our donations have become significantly cut. That is why we do not have any
budget now, but we have enough energy, enthusiasm and friends to organically share the campaign via social
networks, influencers and our friendship-based media contacts.
We understand the money is needed somewhere else. We also support the kids who have to flee their country
and homes. We want to give them our time and attention, for example, during the planned weekend in
nature.
