The SuperSport Conference in Johannesburg was a personal highlight. Represented
the Eastern Cape in the absence of Leoni Black, which entailed conducting
presentations pertaining to internal and external communication, marketing,
problems vs solutions, coverage of large sporting events and publicity figures in the
region.
Despite being the youngest, received the award for “Best presentation” for creative
approach and innovativeness. Dressed up as a cricket player (alias Alan Donald)
and delivered a speech as a cricket commentator, using cricket jargon and
referring to cricket icons. Immediately thereafter, wasapproached and personally
offered the PR contract for the Eastern Cape, but declined.
