through the spittle test. Although the science
behind it is a little suspect, alternative health
professionals like those who specialize in
naturopathy use it to test their patients.

before you brush your
teeth, drink or eat
anything, fill a glass with
water at room
temperature. Spit into
the glass. Check the glass every twenty minutes
for some tell-tale signs of candida: cloudy saliva
at the bottom of the glass, opaque saliva specks
in the water, and strings coming from the saliva.

5. If you've recently eaten milk or any other dairy
product or else have allergies, there’s a good
chance you will test positive on this test. The
spittle test isn't entirely reliable and you should
take it with a pinch of salt, so to speak.
