Yash Nagar has been a visiting Student with the WikEdata team at Wikimedia Deutschland in
September and October 2016. He worked an his master thesis about harvesting mathematical
forumia from Wikipedia, integrating them into Wikidata and making them available to a question
answering system. This helped us enrich Wikidata's data significantly and make it more useful
forourusers.
Wikidata is Wikimedia's knowiedge base. it makes general purpose open data about the world
available to Wikimedia projects like Wikipedia äs weil äs anyone e!se who wants to make use of
it. it is maintained by 16000 volunteers and the 3rd largest Wikimedia project.
