1. The Same Message since Day 1 Judaism, Christianity, and Islam

2. The Qur’an (or Recitation) is accepted by ¼ of the world’s population. 1.7 billion people believe the Qur’an is the last message from God recited by the ANGEL GABRIAL to the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) over a 23 year span, with the intent to be passed on to all of mankind from generation to generation memorized by a group of people known as Hafeez (or the guardians [of the Word]). Up to this day there are millions around the world, some 10 years old and younger, who have the complete Qur’an memorized. (114 chapters and thousands of verses).

3. The Messengers

4. There have been many Messengers or Prophets of God accepted by billions of people world wide throughout Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

5. There are 25 messengers of all mighty God mentioned in the Qur’an: Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (Peace and Blessings upon all of them) are just a few.

6. Prophet Moses (pbuh) is mentioned more then any other messenger of God in the Qur’an along with the likes of Jesus (pbuh) who is also mentioned many times throughout the Qur’an. Both Moses and Jesus are discussed more frequently in the Qur’an than Muhammad (pbuh).

7. Islam is the only non-Christian faith that makes it an article of faith to believe in and Love Jesus (pbuh) (or Isa in Arabic ) with all of your heart.

8. NO Muslim is a Muslim if they DON’T Believe in Jesus (pbuh) or his teachings of worshiping God!

9. Muslims Believe: That Jesus(pbuh) was one of the Mightiest Messengers of God He is the Messiah or Anointed One (Christ or “Christos” in Greek) His Miraculous Birth from the Virgin Mary He gave life to the dead by the will of God He cured leprosy by the will of God Many other Miracles of which are Mentioned in the Qur’an.

10. Jesus (pbuh) was a messenger of God sent to the people of Israel at that time, and will return during the end of days. Muhammad (pbuh) is the last messenger or Comforter (described in the Gospel of John) to be sent to humanity as a whole with the last revelation from God.

11. The Qur’an says it is a message for all of mankind.

Qur’an: Ch14 :1 “ A book which we have revealed unto thee, in order that it might lead mankind out of the depths of darkness into the light-by the leave of their Lord-to the way of Him-the exalted in power, Worthy of all praise!” Qur’an:Ch14:52 “Here is a message for Mankind: Let them take warning there from, and let them know that He is no other than One God: Let men of understanding take heed.” Qur’an:Ch2: 185 “Ramadan is the month in which was sent down the Qur’an , as a guide to mankind, also clear signs for Guidance and judgment.” (B/w right and Wrong). Qur’an’s 39:41 “Verily we have revealed the book to thee in truth, for (instructing) mankind. He then that receives guidance benefits his own soul.”

13. In Islam, Muslims are told in the Qur’an to come to common terms when dealing with conflicting opinions. Qur’an: Ch 3: 64 “ O people of the book! Come to common terms as between us and you: that we worship none but God..”

14. The 5 Pilllars of Islam and the Similarities between Judaism And Christianity

15. 1st Pillar: There is only One God, and Muhammad (pbuh) is his last messenger. Muhammad (pbuh) is foretold by name in the Hebrew Bible in the Songs of Solomon and is referred to as the comforter, advocate, helper, and counselor in Christian texts throughout the world. The Greek Translation of the meaning of the name Ahmad or Muhammad is Periclytos; the Greek translation for comforter used in the Gospel of John is Paracletos which could very easily been a mistranslation of Periclytos.

16. Descriptions of the “Comforter” and the requirements he fulfills Gospels accepted by Christians all over the world have Jesus Christ (pbuh) fore sighting and describing a final counselor, comforter, helper, or advocate to come in the future. The following verses are from the New Testament found in the Gospel of John (NIV). These verses explain the prerequisites or requirements that this messenger would meet.

17. Jesus (pbuh) states in the Gospel of John Ch 14: 15-16 “If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever- The Spirit of Truth.” Ch 14: 25-26 “All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Counselor, The Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” Ch 15: 26 “When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me.” Ch 16: 7 -8 “But, I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come you; but If I go I will send him to you. When he comes, he will convict the guilt of the world, in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment.” Ch 16: 12-15 “ I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of Truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own, he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking what is mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take what is mine and make it known to you.”

18. If one were to examine the requirements or prerequisites of this last messenger, or comforter to come, one must look at the key statements Jesus Christ (pbuh) says in the Gospel of John. The Counselor will be with us forever. He will teach us things and remind us of the teachings of Jesus Christ (pbuh) . He will testify about Jesus (pbuh) He will come after Jesus (pbuh), he will convict the world of guilt in regarding sins and righteousness and judgment. He will not speak on his own, he only speak only what he hears, he will tell you what is yet to come, he will bring glory to Jesus (pbuh).

19. Muhammad (pbuh) is only individual in human history that proclaims to be this messenger or comforter, and meets everyone one of the prerequisites prophesized by Jesus Christ (pbub) in the Gospel of John. Muhammad (pbuh) is described in the Qur’an as the seal of the prophets or last messenger from God, who was sent as a mercy to mankind; and that the Qur’an is the last message from God. Because the Qur’an was memorized when it was revealed 1400 plus years ago, and is still memorized by millions of people around the World today, the Qur’an is a message that will be with us forever.

20. The Qur’an teaches us things from the creation of the Universe, the creation of mankind, the Angles, the Jinns (or spirits/demons), the embryology of man, and many other scientific facts that were not discovered until recent times with the use of modern technology. The Qur’an also reminds us of the teachings of Jesus Christ (pbuh) as he is mentioned at least 25 times in the Qur’an , with an entire Chapter or Sura named “Mary” in reference to the Virgin Mary; Mother of Jesus(pbuh). It’s also noted that the Virgin Mary (pbuh) and her family are referenced more in the Qur’an and with greater detail than the New Testament.

21. Muhammad (pbuh) testifies about Jesus (pbuh) in the Qur’an and the Sunnah (The recorded actions of Muhammad (pbuh)) many times. The Qur’an convicts the world of guilt by restating God’s commandments and establishing the criterion to judge between right and wrong. Qur’an 25:1 “Blessed is he who sent down the Criterion to his servant, that it may be an admonition to all creatures”. Muhammad (pbuh) didn’t speak of his own words, but only spoke of what he heard from the Angel Gabriel. Qur’an Ch 53:2-5 “ Your Companion(Muhammad Peace be upon him) is neither astray nor being misled. Nor does he say aught of his own desire. It is no less than an inspiration sent down to him: He was taught by one Mighty in Power (Angel Gabriel).” The Qur’an (or Recitation) is the words that Muhammad (pbuh) repeated or recited only after hearing a revelation from the Angel Gabriel. The Qur’an is the Word of God recited by the Angel Gabriel over a period of 23 years.

22. Concept of One God or Monotheism in TORAH, GOSPEL, and QUR’AN Qur’an:Ch112:1“Say: He is God, the ONE and ONLY.” Old Testament: Deuteronomy: Ch 6:4-5, Moses (pbuh) says “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is ONE. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” New Testament : Mark :Ch 12: 29-30, One of the teachers of the Law came to Jesus and asked him what is the most important commandment , Jesus( pbuh) quotes Moses(pbuh) “The most important on” answered Jesus(pbuh), “is this ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is ONE. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength’” Exodus : Ch20 :2-6 GOD Says “ I am the Lord your God.. you shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not Bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God… showing love to a thousand [generations] of those who love me and keep my commandments.” Deuteronomy: Ch 5: 7-9 God says “You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath… You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God. “

23. The Concept of One God in the Bible vs. the concept of “Trinity” or God being 3 deities. There is not a single unambiguous statement in the complete Bible where Jesus Christ (pbuh) claims to be God tells us to worship him. The following verses are from the New Testament (NIV) illustrating clearly that Jesus Christ (pbuh) was not God, or that he claimed divinity. When one examines the Bible, one can find many verses where Jesus Christ (pbuh) is worshiping God (Father in Heaven), or is dedicating all credit and praise to God. (The creator of the universe) : John 14:28 “…. You would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is Greater than I.” John 10: 29 “My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all..” Matt. 12: 28 “But if I drive out demons by the spirit of God...” Luke 11: 20 “But if I drive out demons by the finger of God...” John 5:30“By myself I can do nothing, I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.”

24. Any person who does not seek his own will, or self, but seeks the will of God is a MUSLIM. Jesus Christ (pbuh) was a Muslim. He didn’t seek to please himself but the one who sent him.

25. Jesus Christ (pbuh) never created a second covenant or brought a message that was different than the prophets (peace be upon them all) before him. Jesus Christ’s (pbuh) message of worshipping 1 God is no different than the prophets before him (Solomon, David, Jacob, Abraham, Moses (pbut) etc...) and no different than the prophet after him, Muhammad (pbuh).

26. Matthew 5:17-19 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, nor the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom in heaven.” The key note to point out of this verse is the statement “.. until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, nor the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.”

27. Jesus Christ (pbuh) states very clearly that the Law (previous Holy Scriptures), or the Ten Commandments will not change, even by the smallest letter or a single stroke of the pen. The belief of a second covenant created by Jesus (pbuh), or a new belief of God being 3 or a trinity is a major change of Law, specifically the 1st commandment (Your God is 1/no images, no symbols in heaven above or on earth below). Matthew 5:17-19 is in line with Jesus Christ (pbuh) and his remarks in Mark 12:29 where Jesus states the same message as Moses (pbuh) “Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is ONE. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength ….there is no commandment greater than these.”

28. Jesus Christ (pbuh) makes statements in many other verses of the Bible that go against a concept of Trinity, Jesus (pbuh) being God himself or a new covenant. Salvation comes from following God and his commandments. John 14:24 “…These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.” John 17: 3 “Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the ONLY TRUE GOD, AND Jesus Christ(pbuh) whom you have Sent.” Matthew 19: 16-18 “Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, ‘Teacher what good thing must I do to get eternal life?’ ‘Why do you ask me about what is good?’ Jesus replied. ‘There is only ONE who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.’

29. As revealed in the Torah, New Testament, and the Qur’an, assigning partners with God, or worshipping any other besides God breaks the 1st commandment that God has revealed to us in the 3 holy books, and according to these Holy Scriptures, Shirk (or assigning partners with God) is the worst of Sins.

30. Names of God There are many names of God that have been revealed to mankind in the Holy Scriptures. The Qur’an has no less than 99 descriptions or names for all mighty God (Most merciful, Most Compassionate, the all-mighty, the most high, the creator, etc..) . The name preferred to be used by Muslims (one’s who submit their will to God) is the Arabic word for God, or Allah. Arabic is a sister language of Hebrew and Aramaic, the languages used to reveal the Torah, and the Bible. Arabic is the language used to reveal the Qur’an. Allah is seen as the most appropriate Name for All-Mighty God for the following reasons: Allah can’t be plural (No Allahs ) Allah can’t be made feminine ( NO Allahdess, No Goddess name) Allah can’t be changed to accommodate a title (No Allahfather, No Godfather) Allah can’t be made to represent another deity( allah and Allah are the same, God and god is not the same)

31. 2nd Pillar: Salat(Praying to God, asking for help, asking for guidance)

Qur’an Ch 20: 130 “... and celebrate (constantly) the praises of your Lord, before the rising of the sun, and before its setting; yea, celebrate them for parts of the hours of the night, and at the sides of the day: that thou may have (spiritual) joy. Qur’an Ch 17:78 “Establish regular prayers—at the sun’s decline till the darkness of the night, and the Morning Prayer, and reading: for the prayer and reading in the morning carry their testimony.

33. There are many similarities in the Jewish, Christian, and Islamic texts in regards to purifying one’s self, preparing for, and performing Salat.

34. Removing of the shoes before prayer Qur’an Ch 20: 11-12 “But when he came to the fire, a voice was heard: “O Moses ! Verily I am thy Lord! Therefore (in my presence) put off thy shoes: thou art in the sacred valley Tuwa.” Exodus Ch3:5 “Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.” Acts Ch 7:33 “Then he lord said to him, ‘Take off your sandals; the place where you are standing is holy ground.’” Joshua Ch 5: 15 “The Commander of the LORD’s army replied, ‘Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy’”. Because Moses (pbuh) was ordered to take off his shoes before approaching God, Muslims take off their shoes before performing Salat.

35. Wudu or purifying one’s self for prayer Qur’an Ch 5:6 “O ye who believe! When ye prepare for prayer, wash your faces, and your hands (and arms) to the elbows: rub your heads (with water); and (wash) your feet to the ankles.” Exodus Ch 40:31-32 “and Moses and Aaron and his sons used to wash their hands and feet. They washed whenever they entered the Tent of Meeting or approached the altar, as the Lord commanded Moses.” Acts Ch 21:26 “The next day Paul took the men and purified himself along with them.”

36. Prostration (or laying the face on the ground for prayer) Qur’an Ch 3:43 “O Mary! Worship thy Lord Devoutly: prostrate thyself, and bow down (in prayer) with those who bow down.” Qur’an Ch 22: 77 “O ye who believe! Bow down, prostrate, yourselves, and adore your Lord; and do good; that ye may prosper.” Genesis Ch 17: 3 “Abraham fell face down , and God said to him, ‘As for me this is my covenant with You:’” Numbers Ch 20:6 “Moses and Aaron went from the assembly to the entrance to the tent of meeting and fell facedown, and the glory of the Lord appeared to them.” Joshua Ch 5:14“...Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him, ‘What message does my LORD have for his servant?’” Matthew Ch 26: 39 “Going a little further, he (Jesus Christ pbuh) fell with his face to the ground and prayed..”

37. 3rd Pillar of Islam: Zakat(Donating one wealth, time, and efforts back into the community/helping the poor and needy).

38. Qur’an Ch 59: 7 “...From the people of the townships –belongs to God—to his Apostle and to kindred and orphans, the needy and the wayfarer, in order that it may not (merely) make a circuit between the wealthy among you...” Matthew 6: 3-4 “But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” Peter1 4:8-10 “Above all love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use what ever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.”

39. 4th Pillar of Islam: The Hajj (or Pilgrimage to the City of Mecca)

40. Psalms 84: 5-6 “Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca..” Qur’an Ch 3:96 “ The first house ( of worship ) appointed for men was that at Bakka: full of blessing and a guidance for all kinds of beings: In it are signs manifest; (for example) the Station of Abraham; whoever enters it attains security; pilgrimage thereto is a duty men owe to God,” Qur’an Ch 3:96 notes 422 “Bakka: same as Mecca, perhaps an older name. The foundation of the Ka’ba goes back to Abraham (pbuh), but there are place associations in the sacred territory with the names of Adam (pbuh) and Eve (may God be pleased with her), E.g. at Arafat, the Mount of Mercy” Where it is believed they reunited after being cast down from Eden.

41. 5th Pillar of Islam: Fasting (During the Month of Ramadan)

42. Qur’an Ch 2: 183 “O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that you may learn self- restraint,” Matthew Ch 6: 16-18 “When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting. I tell you the truth; they have received their reward in full. But when you fast , put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to men that you are fasting, but only to your Father , who is unseen, and your Father ,who sees what is done in secret will reward you.” Matthew Ch 4: 2 “After fasting 40 days and 40 nights, he (Jesus [pbuh]) was hungry.”

44. Qur’an Ch 5:82 “…and nearest among them in Love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, ‘We are Christians’ because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant.”
