3.) Leadership/Ownership/Stability: A company built by Loan Officers for Loan Officers; the Owner,
National Retail Operations Manager, National Wholesale Operations Manager, National Sales
Manager, General Sales Manager, Information System Director, Secondary Marketing Director
are all former Loan Officers. UHM is a privately held and operated company since 1970,
financially stable and debt-free. Our CEO is a past President of the Ohio Mortgage Bankers
Association, past MORPAC Chairman of the National Mortgage Bankers Association, current
Chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America and works proactively with the MBA
on behalf of the industry. The average Senior level Manager has been with UHM for over 10
years and in the industry over 20 years, it is this stability that provides our employees, business
partners and customers the peace of mind that their transaction will be completed and in
accordance with the highest professional standards.
PRICING:
4.) Compensation: We maintain an innovative plan with multiple custom tailored competitive
options to choose from providing un-equaled flexibility in the industry today. Compensation and
Pricing are highly competitive.
5.) Secondary: This department is available to offer assistance and guidance for our Loan Officers
with pricing, extensions and special circumstances.
6.) Investors: We have relationships with all the top investors in the country including Freddie Mac
(direct), Fannie Mae (direct), Ginnie Mae (direct), Wells Fargo, Franklin American Mortgage,
New Penn Financial and EverBank offering Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo and Super-
Jumbo loans. In addition, we support bond programs including OHFA, PHFA, CHFA, MHDC, IHFA,
NCHFA and CalHFA.
PROCEDURES:
7.) Streamline Procedures: Our UHM Efficient Loan Flow platform offers control over the fulfillment
piece. In our model, sales and operations work cohesively to accomplish our goal of a premier
customer experience.
8.) Appraisal Management: UHM does not work with appraisal management firms but maintains an
internal department of appraisal management saving time and money for our Customers.
9.) Underwriting: FHA DE since 1971 with billions closed, VA LAPP Authority and delegated to
underwrite for all investors. In addition, UHM utilizes a “Risk Committee” to review files with
“make sense” underwriting decisions.
10.)Technology: UHM utilizes the Encompass 360 Banker software LOS built by current members of
the President and Union Clubs as well as the EPPS pricing engine. Partners receive platinum
support from our IT Department with software, email and website development.
11.)Support: UHM offers ongoing and constant interactive training, Managers offer assistance daily
including transactional support and sales coaching. In addition, UHM utilizes a 24/7 Email Loan
Officer Support Blog - our “LOS Helpline” as a response mechanism for mortgage related
inquires with over a 100 Loan Officers available to offer guidance and assistance. At UHM, Loan
Officers always have the ability to reach out for help.
12.)Marketing: UHM’s Automated Marketing System utilizes automated marketing prior to, during
and after the transaction is closed. Specifically designed correspondences to Customers and
Referral Sources are available with the push of a button. In addition, UHM retains a library of
corporate designed and Loan Officer shared marketing pieces including monthly newsletters,
open house spread-sheets and power point presentations for Buyers, Referral Partners or
Affinity Groups.
PARTNERSHIP:
13.)Flexibility: All employees are considered Partners, and are actively engaged in the direction of
the company. We complete executive Tour Visits to each office by Senior Management semi-
annually; we’re a company that constantly looks for improvement and to increase efficiency
daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly. All Partners have a voice and provide valued input
to invoke positive change. UHM is a successful company that has an ability to recognize a better
idea and the ability to implement that idea.
14.)President’s Club and Union Club: Top producing Loan Officers may join the President’s Club (1-
15) or Union Club (16-30) having an opportunity to realize additional benefits for outstanding
production.
15.)Senior Partner Society: Partners who have been with UHM for ten years or longer are
recognized yearly for their service to the company and all Partners
