2. Fifth meeting in Słupia...
Roman Czernecki Secondary School in Słupia participates
in international programme - Wordcrossing.
This project is fullfilling within the framework
of Comenius Programme – Partnership Schools Project.
In the period from 24.02 to 01.03.2014 students and teachers
from partner schools in Spain, Greece, Turkey, Italy and Romania
were hosted in our country.

4. At the meeting in Słupia our students prepared
a presentation on the work of Polish Nobel Prize winner
Wislawa Szymborska and its impact on culture. The project
participants know the nature and cultural heritage of the
municipal area. They met with local handicrafts: Jolanta
Szczerba and Anna Stępieo. The students sang songs
(karaoke) in English and languages of the partner countries.
During the visit, teachers set another task to perform in
order to carry out the theme of the "Wordcrossing„
and the date of the next project meeting in Turkey.
5. During the stay in Poland,
teachers and students visited places such as:
Municipal Office in Słupia,
Church of the Holy Trinity in Słupia,
Mikolaj Rej’s Manor House in Nagłowice,
Cistercian Abbey in Jędrzejów,
Przypkowski’s Clocks Museum in Jędrzejów,
paintings exhibition by Mr Zbigniew Kasperek taking place
at the House of Culture in Jędrzejów,
the State Museum of Auschwitz-Birkenau,
the Wieliczka Salt Mine,
the Old Town of Krakow.
