This school year 2020-2021 brought a lot of changes. One of the major changes in
the country is the new set-up in education. For this, DepEd introduced the LDM
Course. This course provides knowledge to deliver education to learners in this new
normal setting by using Self-Learning Modules.
Teachers reached this far and were able to cope up with the challenges and
demands they are facing in this distance learning situation because of the learning
they gained in LDM Course.
This Practicum Portfolio contains MOV’s that we have used in this school year in
delivering our lessons despite of this pandemic. It contains various artifacts like
WHLP, ILMP, Worksheets, LAS, certificates and even the conversation made with the
parents and learners.

NAME OF ARTIFACT : INDIVIDUAL LEARNING MONITORING PLAN
PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS/STRAND:
3.1. Learners’ gender, needs, strengths, interest and experiences
ANNOTATION:
Each learner has his/her own unique style of learning as well as needs, strengths, and
interests. Individual Learning Monitoring Plan is an appropriate tool to keep track of the
learner’s status and progress in order for me as a teacher to decide on what specific
interventions to be applied.

EXEMPLARS)
PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS/STRAND:
3.4. Learners in difficult circumstances
ANNOTATION:
The pandemic has brought many challenges in the teaching and learning process. One of which is the
comprehension of the students regarding the lesson. Although the new curriculum guide was
compressed into the new MELC, chances are there are still hindrances in the student’s learning,
especially when it comes to their comprehension skills. It is indeed important to develop critical and
creative thinking through the art of questioning to activate their HOTS.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS/STRAND:
4.1. Planning & management of teaching & learning process
ANNOTATION:
Classroom Observation is an effective way to improve the teaching strategies through the
technical assistance given by the master teacher and co-teachers. Having insights from
others will help me enhance my strengths and work on my weaknesses in teaching.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS/STRAND:
4.2. Learning outcomes aligned with learning competencies
ANNOTATION:
Learning objectives should be aligned with learning competencies found in the K to 12
MELC.
Since these competencies are non-negotiable, it is a must that students achieve the said
competencies by the end of the lesson.

5.1. Design, selection, organization and utilization of assessment strategies
ANNOTATION:
It is necessary to design learning activities that are aligned with the levels of the students
and that are achievable as well. Also, provide activities that are interactive so that students
can enjoy and learn at the same time.

ANNOTATION:
Technology is a useful tool to support the teaching and learning process. It makes learning
and teaching more convenient interactive.

ANNOTATION:
Gaining technical assistance and support from my Master teacher, principals and other
mentors helped me achieve my career goals and professional growth.

ANNOTATION:
Attending in webinars enhanced my knowledge and skills professionally. Learning insights
from experts keeps me updated about the relevant terms and ways in education. This will
help me achieve my professional and development goals in my career as a teacher. I will
be able to further enhance my skills as well.

7.4. Professional reflection & learning to improve practice
ANNOTATION:
To reflect, LDM Course 2 is a breakthrough in our educational system since we are given a
clear path in our target goals in teaching and learning. It makes our tasks as teachers more
organized and attainable because we are guided accordingly. Thus, our burdens are lessen.
Learning Delivery Modalities Course is an innovative way of assessing our
performance as educators. It helps us be aware of our areas for improvement, in
that way, we will have a broader perspective on how we will enhance and hone
our skills and how we will establish linkages in order for us grow professionally.
LDM has taught me to keep track of my students’ progress and development and
find means and ways to encourage learners and parents to engage in the
educative process. In that way, excellence in teaching and learning is reachable,
and we can all produce successful individuals in the future.

PROGRESS & ACHIEVEMENT

5.2. Monitoring & evaluation of learner progress & achievement
ANNOTATION:
Communication and collaboration between the parents/guardians and teacher is very
essential in the development of learners’ progress and achievement. That way, the
parents can track their children with regards to their performance.

5.3. Feedback to improve learning
ANNOTATION:
Facebook messenger is one of the easiest tools to access communication with my
students. I created a group chat where students are free to ask any questions regarding
the lessons. They can also leave a text message if they have no messenger. This way, it
would be easier for them raise their concerns and I can answer it right away.

COLLEAGUES

7.3. Professional links with colleagues
ANNOTATION:
I have engaged myself in various groups such as Filipino group teachers, Division LAS
Developers and my school LAC group. This is where we exchange ideas and concerns with
regards to teaching Filipino and it keeps me updated about some important
announcements.

TEACHING LEARNING PROCESS
PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS/STRAND:
5.4. Communication of learner needs, progress and achievements to key stakeholders
ANNOTATION:
I make use of the time every week for the distribution and retrieval of modules to talk to
the parents about any concerns regarding their children, this is done by observing the
standard health protocols. It’s good to establish a rapport with the parents because it has
a significant impact in the students’ progress and development.

6.2. Engagement of parents and the wider school community in the educative process
ANNOTATION:
Having an open communication with the parents is essential in the teaching and learning
process. I encourage them to listen to RBI and watch TVI to further understand the lessons
in the modules/LAS. I give my parents some techniques on how they can assist their
children at home and whenever they have queries, I respond to them instantly.

  • 4. This school year 2020-2021 brought a lot of changes. One of the major changes in the country is the new set-up in education. For this, DepEd introduced the LDM Course. This course provides knowledge to deliver education to learners in this new normal setting by using Self-Learning Modules. Teachers reached this far and were able to cope up with the challenges and demands they are facing in this distance learning situation because of the learning they gained in LDM Course. This Practicum Portfolio contains MOV’s that we have used in this school year in delivering our lessons despite of this pandemic. It contains various artifacts like WHLP, ILMP, Worksheets, LAS, certificates and even the conversation made with the parents and learners.

Learners’ gender, needs, strengths, interest and experiences ANNOTATION: Each learner has his/her own unique style of learning as well as needs, strengths, and interests. Individual Learning Monitoring Plan is an appropriate tool to keep track of the learner’s status and progress in order for me as a teacher to decide on what specific interventions to be applied.

Learners in difficult circumstances ANNOTATION: The pandemic has brought many challenges in the teaching and learning process. One of which is the comprehension of the students regarding the lesson. Although the new curriculum guide was compressed into the new MELC, chances are there are still hindrances in the student’s learning, especially when it comes to their comprehension skills. It is indeed important to develop critical and creative thinking through the art of questioning to activate their HOTS.
  • 10. NAME OF ARTIFACT : LESSON PLANS (DLP, DLL, WHLP, WLL, LESSON EXEMPLARS) PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS/STRAND: 4.1. Planning & management of teaching & learning process ANNOTATION: Classroom Observation is an effective way to improve the teaching strategies through the technical assistance given by the master teacher and co-teachers. Having insights from others will help me enhance my strengths and work on my weaknesses in teaching.

Learning outcomes aligned with learning competencies ANNOTATION: Learning objectives should be aligned with learning competencies found in the K to 12 MELC. Since these competencies are non-negotiable, it is a must that students achieve the said competencies by the end of the lesson.

Design, selection, organization and utilization of assessment strategies ANNOTATION: It is necessary to design learning activities that are aligned with the levels of the students and that are achievable as well. Also, provide activities that are interactive so that students can enjoy and learn at the same time.
  • 13. NAME OF ARTIFACT : TEACHER-MADE/ MODIFIED LEARNING RESOURCES PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS/STRAND: 4.5 Teaching & Learning resources including ICT ANNOTATION: Technology is a useful tool to support the teaching and learning process. It makes learning and teaching more convenient interactive.
  • 14. NAME OF ARTIFACT : CERTIFICATES OF PARTICIPATION IN ANY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS/STRAND: 7.3. Professional links with Colleagues ANNOTATION: Gaining technical assistance and support from my Master teacher, principals and other mentors helped me achieve my career goals and professional growth.

Professional Development Goals ANNOTATION: Attending in webinars enhanced my knowledge and skills professionally. Learning insights from experts keeps me updated about the relevant terms and ways in education. This will help me achieve my professional and development goals in my career as a teacher. I will be able to further enhance my skills as well.

Professional reflection & learning to improve practice ANNOTATION: To reflect, LDM Course 2 is a breakthrough in our educational system since we are given a clear path in our target goals in teaching and learning. It makes our tasks as teachers more organized and attainable because we are guided accordingly. Thus, our burdens are lessen. Learning Delivery Modalities Course is an innovative way of assessing our performance as educators. It helps us be aware of our areas for improvement, in that way, we will have a broader perspective on how we will enhance and hone our skills and how we will establish linkages in order for us grow professionally. LDM has taught me to keep track of my students’ progress and development and find means and ways to encourage learners and parents to engage in the educative process. In that way, excellence in teaching and learning is reachable, and we can all produce successful individuals in the future.

Monitoring & evaluation of learner progress & achievement ANNOTATION: Communication and collaboration between the parents/guardians and teacher is very essential in the development of learners’ progress and achievement. That way, the parents can track their children with regards to their performance.
  • 19. NAME OF ARTIFACT : MOVs ON ENGAGING LEARNERS FOR THEIR PROGRESS & ACHIEVEMENT PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS/STRAND: 5.3. Feedback to improve learning ANNOTATION: Facebook messenger is one of the easiest tools to access communication with my students. I created a group chat where students are free to ask any questions regarding the lessons. They can also leave a text message if they have no messenger. This way, it would be easier for them raise their concerns and I can answer it right away.

Professional links with colleagues ANNOTATION: I have engaged myself in various groups such as Filipino group teachers, Division LAS Developers and my school LAC group. This is where we exchange ideas and concerns with regards to teaching Filipino and it keeps me updated about some important announcements.

Communication of learner needs, progress and achievements to key stakeholders ANNOTATION: I make use of the time every week for the distribution and retrieval of modules to talk to the parents about any concerns regarding their children, this is done by observing the standard health protocols. It’s good to establish a rapport with the parents because it has a significant impact in the students’ progress and development.

Engagement of parents and the wider school community in the educative process ANNOTATION: Having an open communication with the parents is essential in the teaching and learning process. I encourage them to listen to RBI and watch TVI to further understand the lessons in the modules/LAS. I give my parents some techniques on how they can assist their children at home and whenever they have queries, I respond to them instantly.
