China
Non verbal cues are crucial to improved global competition.
For example, while doing business with someone from
China, it is important to know that the Chinese find it rude
and offensive to point with an index finger. Instead, you
are supposed to use your whole hand with an open palm
when pointing.

While doing global business with someone from Canada, it
is important to know that in regards of nonverbal
language, shaking a Canadian’s hand without making eye
contact is considered to be very rude. Instead, show them
your respect by making eye contact during a handshake.
7. Mexico
The Mexican culture is very friendly and affectionate.
Stay close by a person while conversing, and try not to let an
interference of personal space make you feel uncomfortable.

The Japanese culture is much different than the Mexican
culture.
It is appropriate not to show a lot of affection or overt
emotion, such as hugging.
Instead, show you are paying attention while conversing by
making eye contact and silently nodding while someone is
talking.

proven to be unworthy of respect and cannot be
trusted.

Putting your arm around another person’s shoulder,
winking, and pointing with your index finger are all
considered to be rude. Instead, point with an open
