The objective of these two special assignments is to have students at the completion of these assignments and learned:
1) To produce creative and meaningful PowerPoints for presentation
2) To organize information effectively for an oral presentation(proposal)
3) To use PowerPoints as a tool for oral presentation
4) To prepare and give oral presentations confidently
Part A: PowerPoint
Assuming you are working in the marketing department of a big traveling agency. You and your partner are planning on developing a
new tour destination. Select a favorite place where you and your partner would like to go for your vacation as this new tour
destination. The new tour destination must be located outside of China or not your native country. It cannot be a major or well
known city. In the next staff meeting you and your colleague will propose this new tour route to your manager.
Prepare this PowerPoint
The requirements of this PowerPoint are:
1) 6 slides long with textual and graphic visuals with appropriate labeling
2) Have appropriate titles, labeling, bullet points, etc
3) Include your references(no Baidu or Wikipedia) and title page
4) Be sure to have your Chinese names and ID numbers on your title page
