1. WEB ACCESS OVERVIEW
TMA
1. When a TMA session is started, the session code (5-digits from the server assigned
to the current machine/database) is displayed in a window on the desktop.
2. Student uses this session code to join the class.
3. Student confirms his/her name and proceeds to class.
2. 4. Student is in the class with the ‘wait for instructor’ logo.
5. Student shows in the teacher’s roster view (screenshot from iPad).
6. At this point, the teacher can conduct TMA questions. Here’s an MC4/CueTag:
3. 7. I select an answer and hit submit, whereupon my response is available to the
teacher on the teacher device. [ADD SCREENSHOT]
8. Once the teacher stops the question, student’s browser displays the wait for
instrucor logo (and the student gets answer feedback if that option was selected).
4. 9. Here’s a numeric question, after the student responds:
10. Students that join by Web Access (or handset), are NOT able to respond to a
constructed response activity. If they are joined to the class and the teacher starts a
CR, the Web Access student still sees the ‘wait for instructor’ logo
5. SMA
1. For SMA, teacher starts the SMA session from the Test player, students join as TMA
(unless an active TMA is running, then they are automatically joined to the SMA).
2. As the student responds the answers are recorded as submitted, in case the student
wants to change them.
6. 3. When the SMA is complete, the teacher (or the timer) ends the session, and student
gets the feedback:
4. When the teacher ends the SMA session, the student browser is transitioned back to
the join screen, as the current Insight 360 session is no longer active.
